Let them die. Then revive them using console command.
Then kill them again.
Followed by a volus teabag.

If it's the end of the wave, then no, but generally I try and rocket or biotic explode them loose.
Remember when you used to have to charge up your missile for 0.8s before you could fire it?
We don't talk about those dark times anymore.
I rocket. I also have a sadistic tendency to revive teammates under a praetorian, watch them get picked up, then rocket. Just hearing them going "no, no, no, no, yes! no, no, no, yes!" is amusing.
Tangential, but few things make me laugh more than using a Drelldept and seeing someone beset by a Possessed Abomb, pulling the abomb away, blowing it up with a cluster grenade and then watching as the person standing there still spamming the melee key gets blown up.
It depends if they've been contributing the rest of the match. I giggle either way.
Until you mention it, I had actually forgot.Remember when you used to have to charge up your missile for 0.8s before you could fire it?
Depends on my char/weapons.
Raider // Falcon // Kroslap can interrupt quite well on their own (usually my most used weapons by default).
If it boils down to Missiles, I'm likely not going to waste one unless I had the launcher out already for some reason, or was mid-swap on seeing the inevitable happening. If I'm lazy / late / not seeing it in time, you're going down and I'm going to be taking the free points, thank you. If the person is a non-contributor, I'm literally going to cheer for the Banshee/Praetorian.
They can wipe the floor just like I did while in basic.
My instinct now is to either detonate a combo in one power, or presss 8 a few times and unload. The damage threshold isn't too bad and I usually have spare clips.
I try to save them...for the most part i try to be aware of what is going on, and i'm mostly prepared to save them from banshees....whenever i see a banshee and a teammate look at one another like they are staring each-other to death, i KNOW what is about to happen....haha...that banshee eats a missile
Phantoms are a bit harder,... earlier in the week i happened to save a teammate from a phantom right when she stabbed him and just as the teammate turned pink, i killed the phantom with lash and the teammate changed back to their normal color,...maybe that was a glitch because whenever you see them change to pink, it's lights out.
Brutes and Scion kills are pretty much a wrap...no way anybody is breaking up that animation once it's in motion. Praetorians give you time to pull out that rocket as well, or if it's low on health you can knock your teammate loose. In any case i will always try to save them...scrub or not. But if they are doing dumb stuff like trying to melee everything, not doing objectives...etc, then i'm not risking a missile or exposing myself to enemy fire to save them.
I've gotten reasonably proficient at doing the fast weapon switch, so I use that occasionally to save a teammate. With a kit with good spike damage a headshot is often enough, though. I never use TCPs for this purpose; I tend to use them quite often in games anyway, so I might not be carrying any extras.
I always try to break up the sync animation, but have come to realise that unless I can clearly anticipate that it's about to happen, using a missile is usually too late. Ammo pack + headshot is the thing I'll most likely try, but I was particularly proud of a Justicar Reave Bubble combo last night which earned me a thank you message.
A couple of the longest running teams I've played with have come about as a result of this kind of thing - it's one of the few genuinely positive co-op actions which can't go unnoticed, and even slightly late attempts are usually appreciated.

I couldn't care less about wasting nukes, but don't touch my TCPs! ![]()

Cluster grenade greed: it can happen to YOU.
try to save them if possible .... but i also try-hard to revive them in-front of banshee and praetorian ..... ![]()
I'll usually spend a thermal clip if I catch it early enough to try and dish out enough damage to kill/stop the sync, even if it's not enough that's my grenades and ammo back along with some time of more damage.
Let 'em bleed.

Its so true.
Dat hero feel.
It's very rewarding. I just wish a heavy melee would do it in erry case and not just for 1/50
Considering I can't even save myself from being the herp-a-derp that blunders into the pissed off sync killer 95% of the time, no. It's really hard to be the hero from spectator mode after all
Depends what character they are using. If its a volus: I sit back with a drink in my hand... Breather Damaged!
Or let yourself get grabbed then Console:
Changesize 5
I revive them. When they accidentally get sync-killed afterwards..
