This was a nice event. Two simple Perilous runs and the personal goal is done plus 30 points straight into the Community Goal. I really, really, really like the fact that they have started with Challenges that can be achieved on multiple difficulty settings, just with different quotas. Means I do not have to solo routine anymore for guaranteed progress (Undying), and I do not have to lower the bar and just do Threatening either. Awesome. :D

I agree - it's nice to hear that I'll be helping the community by running perilous a lot, which I'll be doing anyway.

LOL!  that is how I felt too.  then I said "F***-it!!* and played Perilous.  Really not that much tougher when you played enough Threatening.

One of the biggest difference I found playing Perilous over threat was the spawn aggression.  It was a given that the enemies would be very tough and can one shot you easily if you are not ready but I was caught off guard by how aggressive they are.  You can essentially get one long spawn fight in some cases so you better be ready for that.  Archers and those dirty assassins are the biggest problem I find.

Crap, I knew I shouldn't have promoted my Keeper last night.  Gonna have to double-time it to 20 before tackling Perilous.

Very good community goal I think. Gives people the freedom to play as they like and still contribute.

*EDIT* PC is at 5491 / 75000

Arcane warriors - Arcane warriors everywhere!

Well, one per game.

For lol-Routine all my other characters were over level 10, and Billy wanted low level stuff.  Then Hanna didn't have much over 10 for Perilous: I tried to make it harder by playing Katari...

LoL.  I'm curious to see both what they saw, and my own video, to see how (badly) i played.

At least my challenge is out the way already ;) Time to get PUGing!

Won two matches on perilous and the personal challenge was done. That was...quick.

The real challenge is how fast you can salvage all the Highland dirks from the Victory and Challenge chests.

Good thing this wasn't a grindy-grind-grind type of challenge, I'm going away over the weekend and only had time for an hour or so tonight. Also a good thing that I just recently started playing surviving perilous.

Good weekend challenge. New players and veterans alike can all participate.

PC at just over 15k. Yay we might win another one.

*whew* Big thanks to SpaceV3gan and his group for making Perilous purty damn routine. I accidentally was specing my Templar as a tank, ergo no WoH. Still, with those archers and that elementalist it worked out pretty well.

Now, to take care of some...things, around the house and then I'll get back into it to put a dent in that Community goal. Which has already cleared that first star, go team.

Hmmm, think I will try to pop my Perilous cherry this weekend, then. I do have three kits I like at 20 right now and the community would benefit greatly from Perilous points.

Hmmm...

I'm very tempted to (consciously, damn ninja lobbies) try out Perilous for the first time as well.  Though in my region pugs for Perilous are pretty much non-existent.

Very happy with how the challenge is set up this week! Now everyone can contribute to the goal regardless of skill level. Good luck, folks!

isnt it like the last chal. and the difference is just the pointsystem ? I mean .. mhm.. come on..

If some1 struggles.... pm me here ( PC only )...most of the time we do have 1 free spot in our party  ( if you need 30 points and per. gives 15.. its done in like 15 minutes depends what level toons were using ).

I couldn't play tonight because of company (that wanted to play Diablo 3 local multiplayer instead!), but one thing I noticed:

Still no announcement about this on the HQ Dashboard, or recap image from last week.

Bioware, may I suggest (and I know you don't care, but I'm going to say it anyway) that if you want us to stop thinking you're putting in a half-assed effort toward DAMP (or DAIMP, based on your Twitch stream), then stop putting in a half-assed effort toward DAMP.

Thanks.

Well, yeah, but the last week you have to clear Threatening only, otherwise it doesn't count. This was a problem for players who were new and struggled with anything above Routine difficulty, and also for veteran players who have to "dumb it down" from their usual Perilous runs. This weekend's challenge makes it so that players will be able to go at their own pace with the personal goal, and be able to contribute to the community goal no matter which difficulty level they choose.

You know what?  I'm feeling confident PS4 will reach its goal easily enough.

Promoting my Keeper and going back to my favorite build on her ;)
