Who are the characters you don't normally romances, that you consider your bros and gal pals? This means you love them so much, you can't think of anyone else to bring along and party with, you'd do anything to make them happy. You're free to make the whole list through the three games if you want. Just a simple survey for us fans and BioWare. You're allowed to include your romance options as well.

DAO: Morrigan, Zevran (romanced), Leliana
DA2: Aveline, Isabela, Varric
DAI: Sera, Dorian (romanced), Cullen, Iron Bull

PS: Generally, some people will notice that your Bros and Gal Pals normally end up being your whole party members, the one you always pick because you love 'em so much.

I usually don't have that many pals in the games to form an entire party, but:

 

DAO: Sten, Alistair, MORRIGAN(one of the best)

DA2: Varric, Isabella, , Merril

DAI: Dorian, Iron Bull, Sera, Varric

 

These are the characters I enjoyed and enjoy the most

Alistair and Morrigan if only for their banter.

Varric for the nicknames and him being the voice of reason

Solas for lore lessons, the nice barriers, the stories, his fade-tongue and agreeing with me on all of my decisions (the mages WILL be free, dammit)

Cole because he's my baby

Dorian because he's my BFF and his flirting

Cullen to look pretty

Leliana (DA:I) for being so freaking badass

They were all so varied.  I find that hard to believe.

Ignore him. He never has anything good to say on this section and just wants BioWare to acknowledge his pain.

DAO: Alistair, Morrigan, Zevran (Romanced)

DA2: Varric, Fenris (Romanced), Anders

DAI: Ironbull, Dorian (Romanced), Cole, Varric, Cassandra  (Totally fell in love with Cassandra, one of my PT, I will have to create a guy just for her).

Although, eventually, I change everyone up just to hear the new banters.  I liked Wynne going all mother hen in DAO and as much as I hated Anders' decision, the one time I played through and he was my Hawke's LI it just added a real emotional punch to the story.

 

In DAI, I love so many of the companions, it's hard, I keep wishing I could take more with me just to hear the chatter.

I love Cassandra, Solas and Sera but I'm here just to spread hate against the game. And I LOVE them, as in romantically, since this thread is about friendship I was honest enough while spreading the hate.

If I'm allowed to include romances, Solas, if not, Dorian.

 

Dorian probably fits more, as I just can't say no to him. Whilst I prefer Solas, I also find it much easier to disagree with him on certain points.

DA Awakening: Sigrun, Ohgren, Nathaniel, Velanna - Dependant on class played

DA2: Varric, Aveline, Merril, Isabella - Again dependant upon class being played

DAI: Cassandra, Dorrian, Sera, Varric, Vivienne - Dependant on class.

 

My girlfriend and I love many of the characters in the games. We play different classes and then pick from our favorites in each game to make up a great party.

DA:A Anders, Oghren and Sigrun.

 

DA2 Isabela (romance), Varric, Merrill and Tallis (though I don't dislike the others, except for Sebastian of course, the only companion I hate in all the series).

 

DA:I Cassandra (romance), Sera, Dorian, Varric and Iron Bull (with a special mention for the three advisors, I loved them all).

My canon Warden romanced Morrigan and was really close friends with Alistair and Zevran. Ignored everyone else. (Leliana was used until I could get Zevran.)

 

My canon Hawke romanced Anders and was friends with everyone except Sebastian, but he was closest with Isabela and Aveline.

 

My canon Inquisitor romanced Dorian and got along with everyone but Solas, but I'd say the only people who were actually "friends" were Cassandra, Cullen, and Josephine. Everyone else just felt like colleagues.

For my Warden, Leliana was her romance, Morrigan and her developed a very touching sisterly bond, and Alistair was like her younger brother. She was close to everyone, but those three were her closest.

My Hawke romanced Isabela, was best friends with Varric and Aveline. Those three are about the only companions I really liked in DA2, tbh, and the only ones I felt my Hawke had a real bond with. Oh, and Carver. My Hawke loved him, even if he was a pain in the arse brother more often than not.

My Inquisitor romanced Solas, and her best friends were probably Dorian, Cole and Cassandra. Dorian in particular I really enjoyed her bromance with.
