I doubt better ones will happen because they can't add in voices nor change the fact the characters will refer to the Inquisitor as the intended gender or fix the animations (which I honestly do feel Frostbite won't allow)

 

I suppose "better" is subjective to the level of compromise in the quality you are personally willing to sacrifice for additional content.

Me too. I haven't gone back to skyrim in well over a year but I might revisit in the near future. Doesn't help that I've memorized practically every bush though. I don't even wanna think about how many hrs i sunk into that damn game.

Actually she probably didn't have clue it would upset anyone, i'm still here in stunned shock at the fact anyone is so petty and so self conscious about their issues would be offended enough to attack and harass another person over a virtual mod in a virtual game that is meaningless to the great scheme of things other than enjoyment...

Me too i stopped because all the mods needed the new DLC, and well one of my 250 mods made my game German.... ,  you try wading through 250 mods to see which one did it...I've since got the DLC so i might venture back

Maybe we should stick to debating the merits of the mod and less about the modder herself?  Whatever her intentions, I think it's the work that's open to criticism, not her.

I don't personally support these kind of character altering mods, but I am sorry for the modder. No one deserves this kind of hate.

She shouldn't have gloated, and then she wouldn't have caused other people to be offended, and then she wouldn't have been attacked.  Had it been just an attack, then I wouldn't have such an issue with it. But her actions hurt other people as well, and they are just as much victims as she is.

I'll never understand why people complain about mods of any kind unless the mod breaks the game. Even then mods are "at your own risk." Mods are about as optional as you can get. It makes as much sense to complain about what someone is wearing or what they are eating while they play the game. Who cares?

Well, she insulted people in both the straight and LBGT community with this mod. She provoked them, so she is just as responsible for what happened as the 'rape commenter' is. She also said upsetting things to the straight community on tumblr, and that is also a form of bullying.

No one should expect harassment of this kind from "the community". Such community should know and especially act better.

There's a difference between expressing your concerns calmly, and flipping one's **** in inane fit of rage and name calling. If one's too angry to do the former, they should take a walk until they calm down enough not to do the latter.

I'm not even sure what a sjw is so there's that, and the mod is not forced on anyone.. so how can anyone else's feelings be even considered...

Last i checked Nexus is free to put up just about anything mod wise, and other places allow more, why do people feel the need to tell others what they can or cannot do..
