You know what? I'm done with being PC. It's a noble intention, but it's become perverted in it's nature over the years, thanks to the dumbassary of people. Because people's priorities have become so messed up and selfish, that it's no longer about trying to keep the love. It's about going on witch hunts, and bullying the next person they can find. I've seen "SJWs" get turned on by their own kind so easily and quickly, because they made a comment that others didn't like. We've seen Bioware themselves, people who champion diversity in their games, get turned on by the same people they work hard to make happy.
I'm not out to offend anybody, and nobody should. But we as a society need to stop enabling these Social Justice Bullies, by constantly apologizing to them until they've been satisfied enough to think they've "won" or something.
I agree completely.
I experienced this online on fb from a person I went to high school with. He took offense to something I wrote, (I was talking about how much of a douche Perez Hilton is), and I apologized for the offense. And then I regretted it, because it made me feel brow-beaten. Its like he purposely misconstrued something I said just to have something to be angry about.
I took him off my friends list without a word, and to this day I regret being as gracious as I was to him, because I feel like he used me in order to vent his feelings of societal anger. I was someone that never treated him with disrespect in real life or otherwise.
Modding is modding. Looks, clothing, sexuality, background, its all changing things from the original game, and its all the same as far as I'm concerned.
And someone brought up fanfic and its so true, what's the difference? Do people who write slash/fanfic get this amount of grief over what they write about?
