Okay well I actually used the resource guide at the top and came to this:

http://forum.bioware...tested-in-game/

I know that Biotic damage is based on difficulty and what rank each power is.

What I want to know is what two combined make the biggest BOOM!

Is it Warp and clusters?

If it is in there then I missed it or most likely I gave up and stopped looking.

Pull + Shockwave

Anything + Cluster Grenades

It depends: are you counting only the damage of the BE itself? If so, then pull + shockwave.

Otherwise, it gets really complicated.

I would argue that the the human adept or the krogan shaman are the best units for self-detonating biotic explosions. Pull and shockwave have the best combo evolutions (75% and 65% respectively) but no character has both. Drell adept has pull and cluster grenade. Cluster grenade is monstrous on its own, but pull doesn't work on anything that doesn't have health. The human adept and the krogan shaman both have warp and shockwave. Warp only gets the standard 50% bonus evolution, but it also weakens and does extra damage to armor, which is likely what you're trying to bio'splode anyway.

What about the Phoenix kits?  Absolute monsters when it comes to damage...

Depends on what you mean, if just the explosion its self, pull + shockwave, if you mean total damage, Smash + Cluster Grenade. Best self combinations would be, explosion its self, Warp + Shockwave, total damage, Warp + Cluster Grenade.

Somewhat off the topic, a base human adept partnered with a Phoenix adept is amazing.  Warp as the primer plus Shockwave as the detonator, or Smash as the detonator with that massive armor damage, is awesome.  Two human adepts with two Phoenix adepts, pairing off in twos is a great team.

On topic, as has already been said, Pull + Shockwave is technically the most powerful, assuming they're both spec'd right, but no character has that combo, so the human adept or the krogan Shaman are the best single character biotic combo.

Pull + Cluster Grenades is also very powerful, as others have mentioned.

So here's a relatively on-topic question I have about biotic explosions... does warp's expose (5b, I think?) debuff affect biotic explosions' damage? given all of the time I've played this game, I never stopped to find this out.

Oh, and if this has already been answered, I somehow managed to miss it.

I think it does, but I've never been 100% certain.  I'd say yes, but someone who understands Bioware's unique brand of 'math' (and I use the word math loosely with regard to Bioware) will have to verify.

I've been under the same impression, and because of that, I await someone with knowledge to enlighten me (so long as their name doesn't have 420 in it, it's probably a reliable source). Fun fact: there are a lot of people I run into in PUGs with 420 in their name. Lots of them suck more at this game than I do, so...

The number of people with 420 or swag in their gamertag boggles the mind.  I often wonder how many of them actually think they're being original when they choose any variation of those as a name.

Yes and no. The target hit by warp, and therefore debuffed, takes 15% more damage from the BE, as well as from other sources. However, the BE itself is not more powerful than usual, and if it strikes another enemy it will deal normal damage.

What's 420, by the way?

The number 420 is a reference to marijuana and the act of getting high. It is often joked that April 20 is some kind of stoner-related holiday and that 4:20 is the best time of day to get high. I presume the number 420 is a relevant police code, like 187 is a homicide, but I don't actually know the origins of the colloquialism.

I'm almost certain I've actually seen this exact gamertag, no joke.  Probably during the heyday of Saints Row 2's multiplayer.  There were so many yolos, swags and 420s on there.

Urban myth, there's no real relevance.

So does singularity prime non-lifted targets? I could swear it primes ravagers (warp explodes). Maybe it's pulling off invisible swarmers.

If U wanna check your combo damage quickly, u can use this small spreadsheet i did alogn this thread.

Note that the debuff is used in the calculation and so only concerns the debuffed unit...

April 20th is my birthday and this is the first time I hear that information.

Huh... so many things make sense now...

The time of day for smoking weed is supposed to be twenty past four in the afternoon. Hence the euphemism "tea" for cannabis.
