I played the game for a couple hours last night and had no problems. I went to go play more today and I keep getting this error:

Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

I played it in Firefox, but I also tried playing in Google Chrome and have the the same problem. Does anyone know why I can't play? It's really frustrating.

I'm having the same issue. Literally was playing it, then clicked out of the browser. Went to log back in and load it up again and bam "**** you simpleton, this shits FREE"; Runtime Error. Ive done the same troubleshooting as you have, and Ive even google the problem and it seems that this was either figured out a long time ago or the answer it somewhere on this forum, not to be found or addressed without extreme poking.!!!

Ill edit this post if something changes or if I get it to work some how.

Yeah, I can't find anything, and a day later; I still have the same problem. Does the game use java, runtime error sounds like a C++ issue.

I reset explorer, cleaned registry, and hell even tried to get it to work on my tablet. Since it didn't work there, I can only assume that this has to do with my account with origin. If its not working on multiple devices, then it obviously has nothing to do with my computer/registry/fuckers/. So its either my account with origin, or EA's servers (which means it should effect everyone).

Either way, its on EA or Bioware, and its kind of pissing me off that there isn't any information, forums seem dead, and support staff is a  ****** to get ahold of! :-( wah wah wah, Ill respond again if I get anywhere, and maybe by that time ill stop whining so much.

Just a random question, do you NEED Inquisition to play TLC? Because I had a friend try on her computer (she lives in Chicago) and she couldn't access the game. But she can play TLC. The difference? She has Inquisition, I don't. I hope that's not a thing.

Hmmm thats interesting, considering when I made my new origin account, I  tech don't have DAI and it worked fine. My main account had TLC up and running at first but the browser closed, thus when I brought it back up is when this issue arose. Hmm, I wonder if it does have to do with something funky with owning DAI. I really don't know, all I do know is that something on my main origin username is not meshing well with TLC and thats an issue to be solved but the lovely devs at EA?

TLC was released and playable before DAI was released so that shouldn't be an issue.

I tweeted the keep account earlier. So when they wake up they should see about and maybe hopefully pop in and say they're working on a fix.

Sorry about the delayed response - we're aware of the issue and are working on a fix for it. I'll post an update when it's been resolved. Apologies!

It's alright Renata. I was really excited to play it when my friend showed it to me so it was a bit frustrating. But, to know that others are also having the problem, relaxed me a bit. At this point, I just can't wait to play it again. :D

Popping in again - if anyone that's experiencing this issue can provide a bit more info, it would help our investigation a ton!

Please let me know a) what browser you are using, and B) when does this error occur? (Eg. immediately after login, after clicking on a specific card in the game, etc.)

Right, probably should have given that. My bad.

A] I have tried using both Google Chrome and Firefox and I get the message no matter what. (Even my friend in Chicago got the error while trying to use my account)

B] My process for trying to play The Last Court:

  1. Log into the Keep with Origin information
  2. Click Proceed to go to the tapestry page
  3. Use the tab on the left to go to The Last Court
  4. From the "You're signed in as: "FuuNoKamiOka" screen I click "Play"
  5. The loading eye appears only to fade out with the previous screen to the error screen. No other information is given other than what I posted in the screencap.

I hope that helps.

Can you try going directly to the site and not through the Keep? You can do that by visiting:

https://lastcourt.dragonagekeep.com/

Just wanted to add in that I'm having the same issue as well.  First time I played it worked fine, ever since I've gotten the same error.  Additionally I can add safari (via iphone) and internet explorer to the list of browsers I've gotten the error on.  Chrome is my usual browser.

Got that same error when trying to login from both tapestry and directly to TLC site today. Using Firefox for my browser.

Just to eliminate possibilities, has anyone who is experiencing the error recently made changes to her/his Origin account (or are you aware of any changes that were made? Did you contact helpdesk recently?)?

I haven't the only thing was that I started my second play my second play through a couple start, the game was already started so it shouldnt' have made a difference. I saw that the keep re evaluated my games and when I went to The Last Court, it almost looked like it was about to load but the load timed out, i hit refresh then the Runtime error came up again.

Thanks for the effort though.

I have not made any changes to my account. It was the same when I first started playing. Though, I had a question, would using mods in games have any impact on the ability to play TLC? Or maybe the console?

Probably not. It would depend on the precise nature of the mods, but I'd be pretty surprised if modding had anything to do with this.

I couldnt see how mods in a game would affect a website.

We're still working on it, btw. Digging up code, squinting at pointers, rubbing our chins thoughtfully -- that sort of thing. Hopefully we'll have more news soon.
