Well, now I'm just not really getting your point. Are you referring to specifically me "pointlessly demeaning" those characters, or just people in general?

 

I admit to calling Gaspard a "pompous, warmongering chevalier," but I think my greatest crime there is redundancy, since the first two are essential parts of the third. 

 

Lambert however, I've only ever expressed the wish for him to be featured in a boss fight.

Yes, point conceded. I had a feeling I was probably bungling my choice of words. 

 

I am actually really enjoying my Dorian romance run right now, so that just makes my error more egregious.

Eh, a real balance would be having a promiscuous person who's not bisexual (preferably straight since gay men and women also suffer from being hyper sexualized). At the moment in Dragon Age, not all bisexuals are promiscuous, but all promiscuous people are bisexual. It's still perpetuating a pretty damaging stereotype and the laziness of using it three games in a row astounds me.
