I'm...glad I avoided the word "promiscuous" in the title. This is the one time I'm grateful for my apparent inability to make an opening post clear enough that everyone can understand my intention. The vagueness has inspired a wide variety of discussions.

Not intended to sound judgmental, merely curious. I don't understand what draws people to wanting LIs who follow "the practice of having casual sex frequently with different partners or being indiscriminate in the choice of sexual partners".

personal answer: sex is often fun and a natrual thing in life and most people should find a partner that mutually enjoys it togethor. Most people are sexual people so its natrual to wanna associate with others of the same view. Not everybody is chaste and want mononogmy to be restricted to one person for x amount of time.

We already had a dwarf warrior with Oghren. Then a witty surface dwarf rogue with Varric. A Legion of the Dead (and casteless) member with Sigrun.

 

So maybe a Dwarf companion from Kal-Sharok could give us a different outlook since all of the above are ultimately linked to Orzammar.

How about one of the intelligent darkspawn from Awakening? I've seen some truly horrifying romance scenes that were modded to throw a darkspawn in.

 

Seriously though, while I know it'll never happen I was holding out hope for an intelligent darkspawn as a surprise party member in DA:I. Would've been an amazing surprise if they could somehow pull it off.
