Cleared the exalted plains rift and the fallow mire one. Currently on 5 revenant hearts.
Also cleared all of the hissing wastes rifts with no revenants spawning. Wheres the last one????
Where are all the Revenants?

Have you done Cradle of Sulevin. It has several revenants.

Except that none of the revenants at the Cradle of Sulevin drops a heart, only sword fragments. At least in my game and in every playthrough. On my first playthrough I had also closed all those rifts and the duping glitch was my savior. After that (and duping gone), I just left one rift - the Fallow MIre one in my case - open, so I could farm it. But basically without a proper rift, you're out of luck, unless you wish to use the Cheat Engine. I doubt they're going to be a sellable item in the coming Black Emborium but hey, who knows...

^ i also leave the fallow mire one as its so close to the beacon for fast travel, i can farm 5 or 6 within half an hour easily.

Since there are so few in the game the general consensus is to find a Rift that has one and just use that one to farm them up. If you're not familiar with how that is done you can check this out.
For finding one final Revenant... you may want to try the one out in the Forbidden Oasis inside the Temple of Solosan / Temple of Pride. After you have collected all of the shards and completed all 3 of the doors in the back of the temple, the door in the temple's main chamber will unlock and you will find one in there.

There is a revenant in the Temple, but it's at the end of one of the three chambers in the lower level. I THINK it's in the spirit one, but I'm not entirely certain. I acquired a heart from there.

In my game it's in the final room of Cold Endured. 
These things should really be a special buyable item in the coming BE.

Spirit. Nothing has resistance to spirit damage, as far as I'm aware.
And about Superb Cleansing Rune: isn't it dropped somewhere? I'm certain I'm using one now on Iron Bull, and I don't think I crafted it.

But...runes increase DPS in a weapon. Does the Spirit rune increases as much as the others? Or it's less, but the lack of resistances compensates for it? Or the DPS increase only affects the type of enemy the rune is designed against? (in Dragon/Demon/Corrupting/Cleansing' cases).
There are so many things that are badly explained in the game...like the Winter Stillness ability. I skipped that one for a lot of time despite being awesome because I believed I had to do absolutely nothing for 3 seconds in order to gain that bonus

A superb spirit rune won't add as much DPS as some of the other runes, but I like spirit for the same reason Psychevore does - because no enemy is resistant to it. I think a superb cleansing or corrupting rune will add more DPS overall though. I'm willing to make the trade off for the fact that everything takes spirit damage whereas that cleansing rune isn't going to have as much effect on a dragon.

No reason to go to the Fallow Mire.
Go to the Exalted Plains by fast traveling to the Dalish camp.
There is a river that flows in front of the Dalish Camp (west to east or whatever) cross the river.
Follow the path, passing by the tents in front of an broken building were you can find a inscription using Veilfire.
Northwest of this "Encampment" is a few broken down walls/pillars with a Rift in the middle.
A Reverent spawns from this Rift on the second shift.
Just have your party attack it when it spawns...then leave.
Wait until your weapons are no longer in combat, then go back.
Repeat.
You can also use "Cheat Engine" to get Reverent hearts too."

True about the Haven thing.
I know which Rift you are speaking of and I never got a Rev from there. I did get a second Rev from the rift in the middle of the damaged town.
None the less its just an option for those who do not wish to go to the Mire.

The ruins rift between the river and the Victory Rise? I always get a Revenant and an Arcane horror from that rift. Odd. Bug maybe?
