I do love the Black Widow. But once you figure out reload-cancelling, the javelin is a WORLD of mutiple-enemy/wall-piercing fun.

 

I've not managed to do the Legendary Javelin Kill-Streak yet, but I have got 4 bad guys with one shot!

 

I do still use the Black Widow with my Huntress though.

 

And I occasionally like to take the regular Widow out for a spin.

 

And the Valiant is also cool.

 

And the Kishock is way fun.

 

And Quarian Master Race either will or has been around to tell you the Raptor is a total hipster weapon (in a good way).

 

Oh and then there's the Collector Sniper Rifle Melt-Fest...

 

 

TL;DR: The best sniper rifle in the game is the one you enjoy using the most.

I don´t know, I think Javelin is better, but Black Widow is easier to use and it´s more friendly and forgiving, so I can understand why it can be best for some players.

When I started sniping I preferred the BW, as it's more forgiving of stray shots.  Once I learned to stick to sniping with kits with instant stagger powers, then I learnt to love the Javelin.  Now the SI/Jav is my favourite kit.

I think it depends on how competent you are with sniper rifles though I personally prefer to go with Sniper rifles that hqave more than 1 shot per clip just in case the person I shoot ends up dodging the shot. I'm normally good with sniper rifles but I find the enemy oftendodges my shots when I try to use the 1 shot rifles which means I end up wasting the shot. Firepower wise if you can get an accurate shot off though it probably is.

Yea hthat's a good rifle personally I like the Viper and Krysae ones most Incisor's pretty good on ME2 though

If you can aim and deal with a little recoil then yes. Javelin is close though.
