I noticed that we don't seem to have a thread on the subject, so I might as well make it myself.
What kind of podcasts do you listen to, BSN? Recommendations, musings and banter about podcasts you like or just the medium in general.
What really hooked me on podcasts was the entire http://earwolf.com/ stable of shows, that have over the past few years brought me quite literally hundreds of hours of laughter.
Notable mentions:

The one that started it for me and basically their flagship show. A delightful mix of "real" guests and character guests in a semi-improvised setting, with the occasional freestyle rap battle, time traveling stabby orphan and Satan's supreme commander's supreme commander trying to bring about the end of all things.

Andy Daly is a comedian who is one of the most beloved character guests on the aforementioned CBB, and last year he had a run of his own shows with the concept of a bunch of his characters that originally appeared on CBB sending in pilot episodes of their own, fictional podcasts. Includes shows from such luminaries as vampire and mummy hunter Dalton Wilcox, cowboy and poet laureate of the west and a travel show hosted by pretzel maker August Lindt, surrealist sculptor H.R. Giger, filmmaker Werner Herzog and former Pope Benedict XVI in a cavalcade of the most genuine accents you'll ever hear.

Scott Aukerman (host of Comedy Bang Bang) and actor Adam Scott of Parks & Recreation fame bond over their love of U2 in a show that still features probably less than 10% actual talk of U2. If you want to find out more about this obscure band called U2, this show has it all. Everything from band member names, what instruments they play, Huey Lewis and the News, Entourage and the nu-metal band Staind. You will know everything there is to know about U2.
I'll end on a sad note because it was sort of what inspired me to start this thread.
I found out earlier today that Harris Wittels recently passed away at the age of 30. He wasn't exactly a household name, his main credits being as a producer and writer on Parks & Recreation, recurring guest on Comedy Bang Bang and hosting a show called Analyze Phish where he tried to convert his co-host Scott Aukerman into liking horrible jam band Phish with limited success. This still got me far harder right in the feelings than any celebrity death in forever. He had an incredible ability to have me absolutely pissing myself with laughter with jokes that on paper were so bad that I should've been been embarrassed or downright angry to even be subjected to them. He also seemed to be a super nice and genuine person in general, who was also super transparent and brutally honest about his problems with addiction. I'll miss him like hell.
Here's him on Comedy Bang Bang, doing one of his signature segments of absolutely horrible jokes that he didn't deem good enough to do on stand-up or even over Twitter:
