I know, but I couldn't afford the 980. It's still a beast of a card.
nvidia offers a great choice at the moment:
GTX980: overprized as hell.
GTX970: an expensive lie.
GTX960: only 2GB VRAM.

I think I go for a R9 280 or 280x or GTX 770 4GB edition.

never heard of this version.
anyways, 400$ is far too much for a GTX770 imo. take a look at this card. or a GTX970 which is still less expensive than this stupid GTX770.

I'll get my G.Card in spring. If I feel poor I'll get R9 280, and If I have enough money I'll get this excellent R9 290.
