I started playing MP only about a week ago. Until today, it wasn't more than two-three matches per day. I didn't have any problems.

Today I decided to participate in weekend challenge and finally get my Keeper ready for promotion.

 

It was a nightmare.

 

First few matches went ok. Then I kept getting stuck just after spawning on a map. I could use my abilities but I wasn't able to move. And this happens with about 4 games out of 5.

 

I restarted the game several times. I repaired game files. I switched to a different toon. Nothing seems to help. 

 

My internet connection is pretty good, so I doubt this is the cause. Any idea what may be the reason?

And sorry if it was discussed before. I'm currently too pissed off to look through old topics.

Sounds like you were unlucky. Most of us can play normally pretty regularly.

However, I do agree with your overall point. Under no circumstances should this sort of thing ever happen, unless of course it was out of BW's hands.

Connecting to most players gives me an infinite loading screen. Crash to desktop is another gamebreaking bug.

The matchmaking is dire at the moment. It can take me up to 30 minutes just to find a Perilous game

I have no problems at all, but then I am on PS4. My connection is usually very good. We do have a larger player base I think, and I usually play on threatening or routine which are more largely populated than perilous.

I'm on PC, if that makes any difference. And no, I didn't re-install the game. I don't have any problems with SP and tbh MP is not my main focus. I was mostly curious if it was only me, experiencing such problems.

 

I'll try again, tomorrow. If it's still the same, then I probably won't bother.

 

Oh, and usually play on Routine (only tried Threatening few times today, but got stuck pretty much all the time).

Hmm Poland should have decent enough infrastructure.

 

I'm on PC as well (Based in Denmark), I've only ever encountered one trip to "Narnia (The map will not load and you'll appear below the world) and only two times where I loaded but was stuck (Could use abilities, and could jump - just couldn't move) in the ~110 hours I've been playing MP.

 

You're not running any torrent programs while playing are you?

Many thousands of people play successfully.

You are likely not alone but it also likely that there is a solution for your configuration.

The trick of course is figuring out what that is...

On X1 / USA high speed connection

1. For the last 2 weeks, I cannot join a Routine game. I always have to start my own. It is about difficulty because I can join the other 2 levels.
2. I have never been able to join any random game at any point, I must always pick a location.
3. I still lose connection about 25% of the time joing games
4. About 10% of games I enter are so badly lagged that I can't really participate.

If you are stuck, don't give up, use an ability, wait a few seconds...

I've never had a (rare) stuck moment that did not resolve itself.

blue screen kickout/logout once or twice a session. PS4 USA, highspeed comcast. For sure they fixed some glitches but the server issues to me appear more frequent than a few weeks ago.

I've never gotten it that frequently, but the whole "can't move on load" thing sucks. Most people I've seen it happen to just leave rather than leech, but every once in a while I'll see someone spamming skills at the start of every level so that the rest of us recognize they are not AFK and not kick them (because getting in a game at all is such a challenge sometimes).

I've played mp since the game has came out, usually on weekends though.  I'm experiencing a similar problem today.  Last time I had issues with MP it was because every other level would load something like a bug testing stage or something.  But this weekend every time I finally join a match and the stage begins instead of hearing the voice describing the level it just zooms to the party and then pulls up a loading screen :/  About 1-2 minutes after the whole loading thing is done the character was just standing there and I couldn't do anything, no moving or abilities.
After some 5 such attempts I was able to join some three matches.  After those three matches I quit because they were so horribly buggy.  Half felt like I was watching night crawler teleport around.  I wonder if there is something going on with the PSN or the DAMP servers?  The only funny part to the buggy-ness parts was the boss battle with the demon...  I buggy jumped out of his range of attack when he popped up XD

A one week sample is too small for calling the game unplayable. Sorry you don't like but it's a fact.

Maybe more a latency issue that a bandwidth issue. I have a satellite ISP and cannot play MP because I load in with no UI and unable to move - even waiting 20 mins does not get anything more loaded. Latency of 700 to 2500 ms depending on the day and time. Not surprising, few online games cope well with that kind of latency.

The game STINKS none the less.  By far the most frustrating game I have ever played.  Must be a credit to the game having some fun because there is no way I'd stick around for any other game.  In any case the 'support longer than me3mp is going to change, mark my words.  I cvertainly will not give any money to this game.

 

With me3mp I did not buy things to get items but I often used a bit of real world money after an expansion to show some support to the product and keep the dlc coming,.

 

Not this time.  I just finished a game with my alchemist, beautiful game, I played great, the team beat the last wave and then instead of getting the score screen I get the old message that the server has dumped me.  No experince at all.  F*** that.  Does BioWare actually realize what a piece of garbage this is as far as connectiviity?

 

If not WAKE THE F*** UP!  Forget the weekly events, forget the no key bug forget the pots, forget the meanginless little skill problems, do something to fix the connectivity if you can't or won't do this forget about the leechers and give people exp like you do gold.  I am sick of playing for 20 minutes and getting sweet FA.
