DA2 qunari looked absolutely cool (never mind the cloning), including the Arishok. Now Bull, he looks like a joke compared to them.

Sten was amazing. The Arishok was amazing. Iron Bull is... basically James from Mass Effect. A generic bruiser with a dull personality, whom the writers tried way too hard to make likeable.

With the exception that I actually liked Vega in Mass Effect, I agree completely. Iron Bull feels like the same character, I daresay on purpose. It annoys me no end.

It's not that his head is small, it's that his body is so thick, plus you're seeing him at a low angle most of the time and the perspective skews his proportions.

My f!Adaar looks him eyes to eye (actually she feels slightly taller) and he still looks badly done. His head is indeed too small and his pecs are too disproportionate.

Don't even get me started on his ridiculous default "genie" pants for a berserker type warrior...but I digress.

His personality can be interesting if you really get to know him though.

I understand completely. His whole character archetype just SCREAMS Zevran. Even before we got to know Iron bull, from his description of being Bisexual, and likes to participate in "casual sex" i was just like "yep, this is our Zevran character of the game"

I agree that his pecs are strange. Too broad and flat.

Yeah, as much as I liked the character, his head is way too small... I've been able to look past that, but I won't deny that his character model is way out of proportion.  I mean, seriously... what is going on with his neck in this photo?

His tiny head isn't even the main issue for me. It's his personality. I really wanted to like him, but just like Blackwall he was such a boring character in my opinion. The way he was voiced probably didn't help me like him. Nothing against Freddie but Bull's dialogue felt too forced most of the times. But yeah, I find his body a bit over the top, specially his pecs and neck, I don't understand how people find that attractive, but well, preferences I guess.

Especially, the forced and all too frequent "heh heh heh" sly laugh. Those parts made him come across like he was pimping or selling drugs on the street corner at night, while failing to be incognito.

I agree. His neck, shoulders and chest are way too over-exaggerated and head too small. But one thing that always bugs me, as well, are his hands. They're freaking huge.

What Sim-ran said, I went into ME3 expecting to dislike Vega, and ended up really liking the guy, even wished he'd been in previous games. I went stoked for Iron Bull and at the end i thought he was a bit meh. He's a decent enough character but I feel like his design brief was 'NOT STEN/ARISHOK'.
