I started playing the Bastard of Kosigan series recently. I really enjoyed the first module and was looking forward to the second. However, it has a major problem in that it causes my saved games to be completely unloadable. I've been asking around about this on a lot of different forums. Someone suggested I try recompiling the mod myself and seeing if that fixed anything. Well, it didn't. Also, when I recompiled the module, it produced quite a number of errors. From what I've been told, these errors indicate significant technical problems that can't be fixed without the right skills. I've also been told that this is a known issue with this particular module, but for some reason, it has never been fixed by the module's creator or the community at large.
I wanted to post about this on the Neverwinter Vault, but for some reason I can never get the email confirming my registration, so I can't post there. I'm posting this here to give this issue some visibility and maybe get someone with the appropriate skills interested in making a fix. From what I've seen so far, this looks like a very good series, and it would be a shame for people to miss out on it because of this issue.
