I'm sorry, but DAMP, and even the SP games doesn't come close to DRAGONS DOGMA DA.  The combat mechanics alone make DD the clear winner.  If CAPCOM ban make that MP they have a winnner!  Conversely, if BIOWARE can't recapture the ME3MP quality in future titiles (no hope left for DAMP) they will FAIl again.

I'm very excited about Dragons Dogma Online.

So a kind of online Dragon's Dogma?

Wow, didn't even know about that. Shame Capcom have no plans to release in the West. I hope they see sense. Now THAT is how fantasy MP is done!

Zorinho - Science will save us.

Except from huge asteroides, science will not save us yet from one of those hitting the planet.

That's so not true.I'm betting there are  some handsome oil miners/astronauts in the world, which will save us in upcoming asteroid strike.

Edited for "peace in the house" reasons.

Hence the "Yet" part. Those crazy Americans always figure out something.

Played multiplayer for about a week just to try it and its too boring to return. Its just the same thing over and over again. Not sure how they could improve it.

No arguments there; many MP games are repetetive.  The BSN community has in fact provided many ideas how to spice up the game.  Are we being heard though?  Heard, not just listened to and ignored.

It's a simple model: engage the community for which you are making the product; draw upon the creative ThinkTank of the community; create a game that the community will actually enjoy; artistic integrity is fine when painting a picture or writing a book, however the nature of gaming would be best served by including the recipients and creating something we can all appreciate.

A huge DLC and an enormous patch and then (!) BW should make it free to play (just the MP).

One thing I didn't see anyone mention was how ridiculously under-weighted in loot RNG Cloth is, when compared to Leather and Metal.

Yes, salvaging runes give one of each type, but staves seem to be even-weighted against each weapon type instead of double-weighted, since 4 classes use staves and only 2 classes use each of the other weapons. To make matters worse, I feel like they DID double-weight daggers, as they should be, but by NOT also double-weighting staves this amplifies the Cloth deficiency.

I notice that I constantly have upwards of 30 each of several different types of leather and metal, but it takes FOREVER to stockpile a measly 8 cloth that isn't Silk, Silk Brocade, or Plaidweave. Those 3 seem to be randomly dropped when salvaging runes so that helps when acquiring the cloth necessary to unlock armor (because you can use any cloth type). But heaven help you if you are trying to build a weapon upgrade with Tier 3 cloth in mind.

Case in point, I'm currently trying to build an Ornate Longbow Grip (8 Cloth: Utility / 4 Leather: Offense) for my Punched by the Maker and the 3 cloth I mentioned earlier all boost the Magic stat, which is practically useless for an Archer/Hunter, whereas the Willpower cloths are basically nowhere to be found, and even Cotton is few and far between.

Granted, fixing this alone won't "save" DAMP, but it would help.

Side question here: Is Punched by the Maker a longbow (or regular bow).  Can you fit the ornate longbow grip to a regular bow?  I always thought you had to use the rugged bow grip for regular bows.

You can put any bow grip into bows with grip slots including punched in the MP.

I think the cloth issue isn't mentioned as much because a lot of us from the forums have spent hundreds of thousands of gold, if not over a million. At this point we all have more mats than we can handle. They are pretty much useless now.

I finally came to the harsh realization that I could play this game for the rest of my life and still not get a Long Bow of the Griffon, even though many people have received 12 of them.  Caliban?!  Blade of Red Berth?!  I've offered my soul to the devil, then to the Demon Commander and so far, no takers.

Much how I felt with ME3MP (and of course DAIMP).  Some people filled their manifests relatively quickly.  I gave up after a while.

That's like me with HoK rings or the HP belt. I've given up hope now

Pressing the Save Game button, silly.

Be serious for one minute, and look at the facts instead of making stuff up.

The fact is - and I've played all the games for 500 hours each, so I definitely know what I'm talking about - the game autosaves.

That is ONLY way we're going to save this game.

I don't care if I've ruffled a few feathers or if all the BiowEAr fanboys want to rush in here and try to shout me down; I'm just saying it as I see it.

I swear Bioware thought of this before - have a Blade of Red Birth that I wouldn`t use not paired and already have twin Wicked Grace, which, not THAT top, is not bad anyway for my "Once in a Blue Moon Assassin". I`d trade it for something else, but no trade available, darn hicks.

Getting close to 1 mil now and it`s getting infuriating.

One or two MEMP sized DLCs could help.

Gotta think there'll be an announcement at PAX this weekend with all the MP guys going there and the crunch time tweets a couple of weeks ago.

If so see what it is and go from there I guess. If no announcement, who knows when the next DLC is coming out.
