On topic: I have been talking to someone all night (not in person, had to cancel my get-together because of weather) whom I have only spent a couple of evenings with. However, she is funny, smart & beautiful. She is a victim of a broken marriage & has a fairly cynical worldview as I do.
I hope to see her for dinner in the next week or so...

I always find it odd when a cynic is happy for a situation. Don't get me wrong, I am very cynical too; I just find it interesting.
