Okay my topic title should make it a bit clear already what I would like to ask.

 

Morrigan and Wynne or a Mage Warden can use powerful spells like Fireball ... Tempest, Chain Lightning etcetera. Now I am actually wondering if the Friendly Fire damage from those spells ( Or any Spell/Skill with an AoE. ) can actually cause companions to leave or something?

 

Do not get me wrong that has not happened, I am just wondering about that?

no it just means that they might take damage if friendly fire is turned on they only leave if you have a low approval rating. So if you want them to stay it's best to keep the approval rating up
