People are asking why the Tiger would advance towards the Sherman, despite having an advantage at range. Well the answer is quite simple, the act of shooting smoke at it had blocked its view, and the Tiger had 3 options.
1) The Tiger could sit and wait, but it would allow the Shermans to move in close while it couldn't see. Note the M4A1 76mm on the left and the Easy 8 on the right can both penetrate the Tiger from any range under 500 meters at any spot on the hull depending on shot load. Range at the start of the engagement was about 700-750 meters.
2) The Tiger could try and back up and away from the fight, but it appears that it was a tree line or hedge row behind it so might not have been able to back up safely.
3) The Tiger could, and did, move out of the smoke cover to avoid losing track of the 3 Shermans and avoid getting flanked. The reason why the Tiger lost here is because in general, the Tigers had horrendous turret traverse speeds because they were designed to kill tanks at range. So it can't keep up with the Sherman pincer.
Great soundtrack, and it had Shia LeBeouff. That's all I took away from it.
I was entertained for the duration, it did its job
