It would be funny to have him in Inquisition as well as Varric, I really liked his sense of humour.
Also think they should bring back Dog (or one of his puppies) as well as Sandal and Bodahn.

How can anyone not want Oghren back???!!! He's disgustingly beautiful! The most gorgeous half of the Broma Brothers!

Also, with all the dragons you can fight in DA:I, it's a shame Oghren's not around to enjoy it. He approves when you fight the dragon at the Temple of Sacred Ashes. He's into that crap just like Bull! Imagine the two of them fanboying about killing a dragon, drinking themselves into a stupor and laughing at their horrible jokes
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BEAUTIFUL.
And he's so adorable in fanart look:

I'm waiting for Oghren's daughter to grow up and take his place as that "character" that he himself was.

Fellow Oghren fans! I too miss that drunken dwarf. Frankly Dragon Age just isn't the same without Oghren no matter what those blasted oghren haters say. I mean it's strange that Bioware never asked Steve Blum to come back to voice any characters in Dragon Age besides Oghren. Steve Blum's the reason i like Dragon Age after Warhammer 40k: Dawn Of War 2. Sometimes i blame the Oghren haters for that seeing how they "claim" that Oghren's writing in Awakening was bad which i don't believe was bad and David Gaider has said that he felt pressured to bring Oghren back in Awakening and wish he hadn't cause I don't really believe Gaider when he claims that was the only time he did that.
Oghren's easily one of my favorite companions in the series, but I don't need to see him in the party again.
But I would love to see him show up again if it serves the story.

Even if Oghren can't make a cameo, I'd settled for chatting with Felsi and Nugget.
I hate to be the downer (well, not really
), but please no. He was the most boring character from Origins. A couple days ago I was trying to remember the gender ratio of companions in that game, and I just now realized that I forgot to count Oghren. He was totally forgettable for me. And he came back to disappoint me again. I was super psyched to hear there would be an Origins companion in Awakening back in the day. And then it was Oghren.
Soooo much disappointment. Hype crushed. ![]()
Besides, I bet Oghren had all that beard to compensate for a total lack of majestic chest hair. ![]()
Oghren was companion in both Origins and Awakening. That's more of him that I ever wanted. I'd really take anyone over him.
Ohgren was a fun companion, with Zevran they made a dynamic duo. Too bad Oghren became warden in the expansion. I would have saved him from that faith.

I'm still P!ssed off that Oghren never got any mentioned in DA2 and DA3. I don't care if his writing in Awakening was bad or he wasn't a key player like your warden, not hearing anything about him is a major insult seeing that he helped end the 5th blight. And all i got was a lousy painting that can be seen in the hanged man in DA2 and not a sodding reference to his entire existence. Varric was fine and i was ok that he returned, but I grew very fond of Oghren especially during Awakening and was hoping for a small cameo when I supported Orzammar and visited Valammar, but nothing. Just a bit of back story about Varric and Bianca and a letter from King Behlen.
Frankly Dragon Age just isn't the same without Oghren no matter what those Stupid Oghren haters say.
As i said, there are True Oghren Fans out there who would rather have that Dwarf's name mentioned then have no mention of the said character. If you and the rest of the Oghren haters don't like him, fine but for us, we'd rather have that mention then NOTHING at all. I don't care if his writing was bad in awakening, not knowing anything about Oghren outside of origins is a major letdown. I don't care if Oghren is not a essential key character like your Warden. i'd rather have some closure on that dwarf then nothing at all. Oghren is mentioned in The Keep so Bioware would not have bothered to code it if it was not needed.
And don't give me that crap about "It's Placed in the keep to give players the illusion of choice." because the Developers so called vow to their fans that, compared to its predecessors, the decisions they made throughout the series will have a greater impact on the story and that the player will be given more control over their gaming experience was nothing but a bold faced lie since it's already proven that the keep's "choices" aren't fully addressed and have very little impact on the story!! I would've preferred cameo side quests rather than some big empty farming/grinding areas that serve for nothing just to consume our time. Why bother making the Keep then if it so say to the fans "p!ss off" in the end?
PLEEZ
Sera = Oghren. Fart jokes, sex jokes, juvenile sense of humour. They are virtually the same person, Sera is just romanceable

The more i watch this clip, the more i miss that drunken Dwarf.
I want Oghren back seeing as he was tossed out with no mention of his whereabouts. I really miss Steven Blum as Oghren. Who could play the game and not have Oghren as a favorite companion? Almost every time he spoke, I laughed. Heck, had my Hero been a couple of feet shorter, I would have wanted to romance the guy, that's how funny I found him. He was even better as a Warden! That scene of his drinking that entire goblet of Darkspawn blood, instead of little bit he was supposed to drink, then having his eyes go white, followed by his burping in his Oghren way, was absolutely hilarious. He was the Chuck Norris of the Bunch.
I do not mind Varric, but yeah, Oghren is the best.
Oghren is the typical farting drunk dwarf... How can anyone dislike him ?

Exactly my point!!! How can ANYONE dislike him?
Everyone i have ever come across is an Oghren Hater.

A lot of people hate him because he's politically incorrect.
I think they need to lighten up, but that is part of the Oghren hate.
Oghren had the best of beards and that is one of many reasons to bring him back. Sorry Blackwall! Until you can braid your beard like Oggy you will have to remain 2nd to best in the beard dept:

So long as it's not Awakening Oghren.

Who bloody cares!!! As long as it's Oghren voiced by Steve Blum himself, that's all that matters.

Meh. Awakening Oghren sucks.

In what way? Alcoholism and family abandonment played up for laughs? His paranoia about eyeball eating pants? I thought that was funny except for the family abandonment part. I mean hasn't anyone ever played a prank on you making you think it's real? Trying to hook him up with Felsi and his kid after he joined the wardens? i thought it was the right thing to do to have his kid not think of Oghren as a bad father and have him be a hero in the kid's eyes. Now that some time has passed (most of the people I know aren't exactly the same as they were over 12 years ago,) hopefully the choices my Warden helped Oghren finally get his act together and be the father figure to his Nugget. That Drunken Dwarf better be in a Dragon age Inquisition DLC or I am going to storm down to Bioware and beat the crap out of them with a baseball bat.
Look at how cute and adorable Oghren is here. I mean how can you not love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oghren and Zev's rescue banter was the best of all the pairings.
