Can I romance Cullen as a rouge and still support mages? How does a rouge romance differ from a mage? I've thought about playing as a mage but its damn near impossible for me to play a mage, I'm more comforable with swords, and anytime I play as a mage when my character has died or even on games I've tried to play a mage, Skyrim for example, I can't be a mage, I suck. I'd much rather have a sword or two. I'd mean I could probably do it if I start the game playing as a mage on dragon age, but I don't know.

The only difference to a mage romance and a non mage romance with Cullen is a few dialogue choices, nothing that changes the romance any. And like said, you can side with mages or templars with any class, it has no effect on the romance.

Romancing Cullen as a Mage grants a change in dialogue during certain scenes, which honestly isn't worth going Mage for, especially if you don't like playing as one.
And yes, you can still support the Mages if you play as a Rogue, or any class, for that matter. Supporting the Mages with whatever class will still get you his personal quest (which you don't receive if you support the Templars).

I cant spell simple things sometimes. I cant believe you are asking what it is. What is the one class that starts with an R on dragon age? Im sorry im a horrible speller. A rouge is the duel weapon weilder ...sorry again if mispelled it. I also wrote this at night which makes my spelling even more atrocious when Im exhausted.

I feel ya OP. I misspell stuff all the time. I mean I giggled at the jokes at first, but yeah no need to get condescending.
Cullen's romance with a rogue is the only one that doesn't (at least afaik) have the option to get any special class related dialogue ones...if you play as a warrior and go templar, you'll get stuff there, and obviously mage has special dialogues, but I don't think rogues do. I romanced him with a rogue but it was my character who started a bunch of romances and dumped them all, so I def didn't see all the content.
However, no matter what class you play or whatever side you take, you can romance him. I def wouldn't force yourself mage if you don't want to, and if you want more special content, you could consider going templar...but it's only a line or two, it's not really worth it unless you do a lot of extra headcanoning, which you could...do for any class!
