Pillars of Eternity has been my go-to game as of late (and most recent purchase). So far I've managed three playthroughs and still discovering much about the game, so I can't say it was a bad buy.

+I love the character creation. Multiple subraces, origin and background, it's a roleplayer's heaven!

+Definitely feels more like an rpg that self defines as you go along (personality choice, you as the player answer questions about your history, makes the game feel more like a DM at times)

+Custom parties if you so choose

+Multiple factions and ways to solve quests. Choice feels real, not like an illusion

+Attributes and occasionally class/subclass affect dialogue

+The setting and story in general (draws a lot of real world parallels, some of which make you really think)

-Companions are lacking. They aren't terrible (Eder, Pallegina and Calisca I quite liked) but nothing really made them memorable. They just felt like side pieces who came along for the ride and provide occasional commentary, much like the bulk of BG1 companions

-No romances (yeah I know, BioWare spoiled me with that one)

-The Final Boss

-Limited resting (it's a pain, especially in dungeons)

Will probably load up The Sims 2 again in the near future. Still one of my favorite games of all time.  :)

Finally got 100% for Lego Marvel Superheroes! So far, I've done a full completion of the Lego Star Wars I and II games and Lego Batman 2. Onto Lego Lord of the Rings!

Finished Hitman 3, enjoyed it the gameplay and overall vibe more than #2, though the incentive for stealth seems small compared to just annihiliating everyone. >.>

Got Warrior Within up to The Empress, but it's a pain in the butt and still haven't beaten it.
Similar deal with Two Thrones. The atmosphere feels like about half of Warrior Within, Half Sands of Time.

You gonna move onto Blood Money? Probably the best in the series.

It's weird, but the story is interesting.

It ain't on GoG, and not sure my laptop could handle the game very well. Otherwise I'd grab it.

It's one of the more unique and original games out there - the puzzles can be pretty demanding, but pulling them off is pretty satisfying. The way they handle the game endings was well done.

Oh I see.....

Depending on how old your laptop is I don't think it should be too bad. It was a transitioning game on release (ps2,ps3,xbox,360). I mean recommended CPU is a Pentium 4 lol.

Either way it's great! I liked Absolution for what it was and the previous titles but Blood Money takes the cake. I still load it up just to play a mission or two for kicks. There's some pretty good ways to get your contracts to kick the bucket xD

Scarlet Blade - a free, surprisingly fun little MMO that's helping me pass the time until Witcher 3's release.

Good game, i enjoyed it.

Also has a lady trying to find her lady lover in the middle of war, that surprised me tbh. Props to the devs.

Got through about 4 hours of Pillars of Eternity, feels like a happy medium between the Dark Fantasy Adventuring of BG2, and the Verbose Otherworldly Elements from PS:T. Seems like an enhanced, more balanced version of both in terms of gameplay.

10 outta 10 would gather my party again

I'm actually giving ToEE another shot, now that the Co8 modpack is about as done as it's ever gonna be. It's... OK. I'm a bit more forgiving of Troika these days; a lot of the things we blamed them for were problems with the PnP module itself.

So you started it recently? Good.

I'll get it in a few days too.

Oh my childhood memories!

Another 1999 awesome game.

Too bad they kinda ruin its recent sequel with DLCs and MMO aspects.

I've been alternating between Injustice, Mortal Kombat 9, Infinite Crisis, Pillars of Eternity, Hearthstone, and Freedom Force.

I have this GoG contest going with a friend. We both pick a game from the other's list of games on GoG, and tell eachother to play it. 3 points for finishing the game. 1 point for getting half-way through it. We go by different genres each month. Last month it was Adventure games, now its RPGS. I got told to play Neverwinter Nights 2, and I told him to play Might and Magic 6.

So....Neverwinter Nights 2 is the game I am playing right now.

ATM, Valiant Hearts. Not finished yet (because I was/still am rather busy), but it has taught me more about WWI than I ever learned in school or at Uni. What a fantastic game! It has also made me incredibly nervous about playing what is basically Guitar Hero, and has been about this close to make me cry so many times. Damn good game, wish there were more like it.

After I'm finished with that, I thought about picking up either Papers, Please or This War of Mine. I am seriously behind on all the amazing indie games. Although I've been seriously salivating over LoU:R and SoM for months now, too... ahh, choices, choices...
