This game ain't cool. It's actually lame!
Well, my friend is an MMO nut, and it's free-to-play, so I figured I would join him. The game is ok on my laptop for the most part.

I'm playing Mortal Kombat X. I finished the story mode a while back, but I still haven't played as everyone yet. Not a huge fan of the "next generation" of kombatants, and I'm absolutely wretched with Takeda. I do take great pleasure in obliterating him with Reptile, because Reasons.
I also picked up Ether One, which is free on PS Plus this month. I don't have much of an opinion on it yet as I haven't played much.

The only thing really *wrong* with the game is that after however many expansions, the endgame is still a load of crap (which, in an MMO, is a pretty glaring feature to lack), the rest of the game is fine, if not extremely derivative of World of Warcraft.
@topic:

Also been playing a lot of MKX since it came out. Jason Voorhees is too good in his Slasher variation.
Guh, that thing was a pure ripoff.
If you owned the game+DLC already, you still had to pay AND it's build on an older build of the game itself, reintroducing bugs/glitches and otherwise already patched stuff back into the game. Conveniently, by the time the older build was patched to resemble the state of the game the standard version was at for that whole time, owners of the standard version could no longer upgrade to the Director's Cut and instead had to buy the whole thing for its full price, meaning that anyone who held off, waiting for the patches to bring it up to the same standard their current version of the game had ... was properly f*cked in the butt by greedy Square Enix.

Currently finished up Wolfenstein The Old Blood, enjoyed it a lot so good enough as a prequel though Uber still isn't challening enough, been playing a lot of Mortal Kombat X as well, must get around to buy a controller though, Keyboard well i guess my fingers aren't fast enough sometimes to pull of those special combos
.
Been dabbling a bit in GTA V as well but i will hold of that until i finished up some more games, can only do so much at a time.
been playing Hunie pop recently. Its like bejeweled if bejeweled was a dating game.

I have the game on the 360, but I bought the Director's Cut since it was on sale on Steam a while back and my gaming laptop was still new. I haven't actually played it on PC until a few days ago when I started it. I've never played the Missing Link DLC, but I heard a lot of people give it crap.
Now I know why they say that, it isn't very good, and I loathe the way it takes away the augs you have unlocked.

My qualms are less about the actual ingame content (I for one greatly enjoyed the no-augs run on my first ML DLC playthrough) as much as it's about the shady business tactics that were employed.
The DC version was a big thing when it was revealed, with the much needed boss fight overhauls (which up to that point were abysmal, no wonder, since they were outsourced ...) plus the seamless integration of the ML DLC into the maingame (which otherwise required you to play to a certain point, quit the game, play ML and after finishing that, load the maingame again to continue and it was NOT a smooth transition thanks to cutscenes/savepoints). Originally marketed as the ultimate version of the game, players wanted to see their copies patched with the new content, seeing how they already owned it. But then Square Enix decided that game owners still had to pay for it.
It also sparked some confusion when people remembered that the devs said the ML DLC was a standalone/not integrated into the maingame because it was running on an optimized/changed engine and the DLC and maingame were incompatible ... then the DC version went for sale and people discovered it ran on an older built of DX:HR, pretty much proving the "optimized/changed engine" argument having been total BS, plus being discontented with seeing how they paid for a product that they already owned just to get a few (albeit much needed) gameplay changes, a seamless integration of the one DLC the game had ... plus getting all the old bugs/glitches/stability issues back that had been patched already for some time.
What Square Enix/Eidos Montreal did with DX:HR DC was straight up, classic milking their fans for money, nothing else.
Also reason why I'm not going to buy the new Deus Ex. I'll rather be waiting to see if the game is good and then wait for SE to pull another DC so I really get the definitive experience without having to unnecessarily pay extra, ... but it has to be REALLY good, or else Square Enix won't see my money.
I'm playing Skyrim seriously for the first time ever. Intimidated 0_0. Got the unofficial patch mods to help me out.
Xenoverse still Love leveling alts and finishing all the masters quests. Then I'll probably pick up Wolfenstein or Inquisition again.
Just finished the Witcher 2 after completing both a Iorveth and Roche playthrough.

Playing Dragon Age II again... I forgot how short this game is.
Also started Xenoblade Chronicles 3D last night.
Persona Q -- Been playing the P3 story and greatly enjoying that. I decided not to do it through new game plus since my levels and such from previous save of the P€ story is kept which makes the experience rather cheap and I'm not interested in that. Instead I started a new game entirely for the P3 story and makes the experience feel new and challenging all over again which suits me just fine.
Other than that I'm awaiting GTA V on PC to finish downloading, then I'll get to Witcher 1 & 2 so I can install the third game as well but that will have to wait for a bit. I'll most likely juggle Life is Strange now that episode 3 is out and it's getting very exciting.

Dem awkward moments when you're playing GTA V 1:30 AM and hit lots of cars because you're sleepy and hardly can keep your eyes open.
I've been cracking at Shogun 2's Fall of the Samurai expansion. Total War and the Industrial revolution go together like chocolate and peanut butter.
Makes me want a Total War: Victoria.

I had something similar happen in the aforementioned game. I was too sleepy to realize I was mowing down my own guys first person with a Gatling gun.
Lost the battle, too :\

Replaying this since I bought all 3 games on PC during a Humble Bundle sale. The gameplay is good and Elizabeth is a great character, but the plot during the latter half of the game and the ending is still hokey and nonsensical, even by the game's logic. I'm likely not even going to bother with Burial at Sea. I've played both episodes on the Xbox and they absolutely ruin any kind of narrative merit the core game may have had by trying to shoehorn Infinite into being a prequel to the first game and making Elizabeth into a vengeful idiot, on top of essentially invalidating the ending to the core game.

Zulu nuked me 3 times because I took its capital. Then I answered its transgression with 1 nuke. They didn't stop and dropped another 3 nukes to their historical capital and turned 90% of city into dust so I won't make it to the 1st place anytime soon.
Then I took their capital and finished the WTF nukefest war (turn 460).
I might be able to take 3 other capitals and win over Rome...
Long Live Constantinople!
Finished Trine finally. That last level was a pain in my ass. On to Trine 2 and still enjoying Lego: Lord of The Rings. Finished the FoTR now onto TT.
I'm at 69% completion on PS3. Replaying the levels now for quest items and minikits.
Man the only Lego games I've 100% was Star Wars and Indiana Jones. It's too tedious for me haha. I just play them now because they're light-hearted and fun.
