As far as general tips for survival:And I've finally went ahead bought and installed Dark Souls II. As I skipped Dark Souls, I'm still wondering what I've just got myself into. Well... ...any, er, tips?
- Be Cautious. Trying to Rush the Enemies Without Knowing them well could result in a quick trip back to a bonfire.
Learn their actions and when to attack. Think of it like Mike Tyson's Punch Out in Dark Fantasy Land. Your Shield is your best friend, as long as you've got the stamina for it. - Don't be discouraged by death. Look at it as failing at a puzzle, and focus on solving it instead.
- No need to kill everything and its broodmother if you're backtracking around. You can run past just about anything if you know the place well enough.
- If you find Human Effigies, keep them secret and safe. DS2 will slowly cap your health the more deaths that occur. I typically save them until you've learned how to handle a specific boss and are ready to kick its ass. I think there's about 60 of them in one playthrough?
Yep, it's one of the major gems of the year. Bon appetit.I've also started Ori and the Blind Forest. One of those games I just instantly fell in love with.
