Finished GTA V

 

 

in 35 hours? I killed Trevor cuz he was batshet crazy and I didn't want to play another hard mission! I may try "Death Wish" later though...

With other activities it has the potential for 40 hours. Not bad, but I expected more. Very good missions and characters and story between the 3 protagonists is very interesting.

And Multiplayer is fine.

 

Mission Medals:

Gold: 11

Silver: 38

Bronze: 27

 

which means I was quite unlucky in getting Golds (plus screwed up 27 missions!)

 

8.5/10

 

If it was 10 hours longer, I would give it a 9/10.

Just became the Grand Champion in the Arena from Jade Empire. Using a combination of Viper Stance and Black Mantis Stance has proven a deadly combination - Poison & Stunning, the rogue's favorite. I'd actually found the previous fight far more challenging, taking on all the previous champions consecutively. Defeating Elephant Demons are especially tricky little bastards, which usually require jumping over them ad nauseum and whapping him on the head if I can.

It'd be nice if there were some benefits for dancing between Open Palm and Closed Fist - a legacy BioWare thing, I guess. Otherwise it's been a very pleasant surprise, and still remains one of my favorites from their library. It gets my stamp of approval:

I'm half way through my RH playthrough of MetroLL. I got to the ferry, and those fking Demons keep screwing me over everytime I step out of the plane! I'm running damn serpentine patterns trying to avoid getting swiped up. Getting dropped half way across the swamp is doing wonders to my medkit supplies too. But once I get across the ferry it's no biggie. I just gotta sneak past watchmen and fight monster shrimp.

 

 

Then it's the church....and that means I gotta fight Big Mamma....

Probably my second favorite MOBA after Smite. Before the game was announced a few years ago, I had always wanted a crossover Blizzard game.

So I thought that Big Momma fight was gonna be hell on RH. I don't know if the increase in damage is applied to thrown weapons as well, but one pipe bomb took her out. Well two shots from my SAIGA and then PB. Honestly it was easier than my Normal PT, I only had 19 shots for my Shambler, an incendiary, two throwing knives, a claymore, and two mags for the Bastard. I ran around in circles for half an hour until she ran into that claymore and then threw everything at'er lol

 

I hope I can get that lucky when I go to fight Mama Bear. 

 

 

I've also been playing a little bit of Hitman: Absolution on PC since I picked up the collection during the summer sale. 2silent4u......

I've been making some good progress on finally getting through the Last of Us. Well, good for me since I binged a good chunk of it yesterday instead of playing only for around an hour and then stopping cause of nerves. A bit stuck on one part but I guess I'll just have to think my strategy over a bit better:

In the little room in the sewers with Henry. The nail bombs and molotovs placed for easy access certainly do feel like they come in handy but it's also far too risky to let all the infected and clickers swarm to where using them in the most useful.

yes it's not a great game and a bit of a dud but I am having fun.

I couldn't play this game with even medium framerate when I got this game, but now with my new GPU I can play it swiftly!

I've only played 3% of it, but it was an enjoyable long kind of 3%!

 

Still playing the amazing Galactic Civilizations III and Civilization V: BNW too.

Been playing a fair bit of Crusader Kings 2, so far my united French empire has conquered Iberia and Great Britain, neutered the HRE militarily, married into the thrones of Sicily and Denmark, and holds the Holy Land with an iron grip.  Now I just have to deal with those bloody khans...

 

Also, on a more casual note, downloaded Fallout Shelter and been playing that a bit.  It's easy enough, but since every vault needs some sort of nefarious hidden purpose, I made it my mission to selectively breed only recessive genes.  Now a full half of my 60 strong vault are pale skinned with red or white hair.  Also, I think they might be seriously inbred, like Targaryen level inbred (fits the white hair now that I think about it), but thankfully unlike CK2, I don't there are any negative side effect to this.

Just finishing it. Playing as a Male Exile Dark Side and just need to get to Telos, defeat Darh Nihilus, save Citadel Station and then go after Traya in Malachor V before she sacrifices herself on the Planet's Core.

Finished The Walking Dead Season 1.

 

Liked it, kinda brought tears in the end.

Just like TWD it was good and it was emotional.

 

Life is Strange.

 

Going perfect. Since it is episodic it hasn't finished yet but so far it is awesome. I think it's better than TWD as long as they don't mess it up. Where gameplay is good, story is even better and choices with consequences.

I had so much crazy-frustrated-fun with this boss. The music is fantastic. PERFECT boss music.

Lacks the art style I prefer from MT:G, but the game has a handful of advantages of its own and is a bit more lighthearted in tone. The Player Cards have their own voices, to boot. Play the thing to hit the other thing and watch explosions.

Neat game, and it is free so I can't complain much.
