Homeworld Remastered Collection. Harder than I remembered.

Also Heroes of the Storm, really good game, just hate the matchmaking. If you don't have friends playing at same times as you, who are also competent, you are going to have a bad time.

It's the best game you'll ever play, so long as you don't get window-licking autists for teammates who pick blatantly sh**Y heroes like Abathur or Raynor. And then there's the matchmaking that will give you 4 assassins and Abathur versus a team with a tank, a healer (usually Malfurion or Li Li with their ridiculous AoE healing that makes people essentially immortal), and 3 assassins.

 

So 9 and a half times out of 10, it's f***ing horrible, but that other half a time is so, so good. Also, good luck every finding teammates who play objectives. I actually just finished a match on Sky Temple where I (playing as Sonya) was the only person who even attempts to capture a shrine, because HotS is just like LoL or DotA where you spend the first 15 minutes laning, I guess.

 

So basically the planets have to align, it has to be a blue harvest moon, and you have to sacrifice 3 cats in order to have a halfway decent game there.

Yeah pretty much. Blizzard hasn't improved things too much, if anything things only got worse after launch with the new people coming in. People play heroes in ranked play simply cause they like the look, even if in draft something else would be far more useful. "We could use a support guys..." "NO I WANT NOVA!" "Erm.. Noob.." "TOXIC!!!! YOU ARE TOXIC REPORTED!!!"

When it works it is great, had a team for a few weeks and it was the most fun I've had while gaming in a long while. But casually playing few games per day doesn't seem to do much if you play alone. You log in, join a match, watch that Lili try and solo a lane whole game and ignoring objectives and you just don't even want to queue up another.

As far as games, my backlog is finally done - no unfinished business left. Legend of Grimlock and Alan Wake were some I was finishing off, the latter for the video commentary.

I think I'm done with Metro Last Light for a while. I only have 3 achievements left for it and I'm not really interested in getting those.

So it's on to finally playing Knights of Pen and Paper! And probably some Hitmane Legally Bound Killing Agreement Paper.

Illusion mage in Skyrim! So glad illusion allows me to play a lawful evil character. The initial plan was to go illusion/restoration as a priest, life-respecting good person. But it's such a powerful feeling to play with minds!

Dragons are the biggest concern. I'm not sure how I'll deal with a dragon when I'm alone.

Age of Empires II, The Conquerors with the user patch and custom random map AI. I like it better than the HD version on Steam because of the things the user patch fixes/adds, but with the HD version we have reference to additional scripts that can be handy for script-writers.

Witcher 3... still. I think I'm maybe a little over halfway through the main story. I would like to be done with it since my backlog is glaring at me, but I also want to take my time with it since I'm enjoying it so much.

Right now, I'm trying to go back and finish my playthrough of PoE. Thing is I keep getting distracted by stuff to do on my PnP games.

Replayed a bit of Witcher 2 up to the Kaylan Monster near Flotsam. The Main Plot is a *great* deal heavier than Witcher 3, which feels like a wild goose chase until reaching a certain point later in the game. Thankfully most of the side quests and exploration make up for that.

Got through Hearthstone's tutorial and a couple of the class battles; classes are similar to elements of a deck in MT:G that implement specific playstyles. The tutorial does a wonderful job of teaching the player the main mechanics through specific enemy AI using those cards. It was clever of blizard to adapt MT:G's old mechanics(having to attack through monster cards before the PC) with taunt cards. With yourself made more vulnerable, the game is more intense. The same could be said of removing lands, not gonna miss those. The free-to-play system is still worlds better than MT:G's annual game releases.

Since this is an international message board, should point out that if you want to play someone in a different region(US/Europe/etc.), you'll have to switch your server to theirs in the main menu - Cross-Region gameplay won't work otherwise.
