Starpoint Gemini 2 for the moment. Seems a little devoid of decently written content that puts the mechanics to good use so far. So I don't know if I'll keep at this or just go on with another Age of Wonders 3 game. But I'm not exactly far into the game, so we'll see how it goes.

Looks pretty though:

And no, I didn't just blow up the planet for EXP and gold.

I just recently finished my replay of the witcher 2. It was good. Though I still have issues with the pacing at points.

Now i'm playing more SWTOR. I wish the stories were in a better game.

Dusted off my 360 to play some Forza 4, I forgot how satisfying it is to beat supercars in a Miata. I'd love to post screenshots but the privilege of accessing those is only available to those who pay for xbox gold and is above us free plebs.

Yeah, I gave up on the campaign right from the opening mission and kept playing freeroam instead. Got myself a nice little garage of ships by making tons of high-level deliveries with my Pegasus, then went after the bounty list to get even more money.

Anyway, still playing FTL. Finally re-unlocked my favourite ship, the Basilisk... ...then promptly found myself a new favourite in the Theseus. Same old face-ripping fun, just now I can have both Cloak and Hack instead of one or the other.

Also still playing Age of Wonders III every now and then. However, on that front, I've been more busy with my very own "write a story" game; essentially, I challenged myself to take my stable of custom characters, and write something at least vaguely resembling a coherent story with them. I just thought it would be fun.

Let's just say I got a little carried away on that one...

As said before I reinstalled this game and load my last saved game from 2007. It almost made me cry to see I'm ruling my Empire once again and everywhere in the empire say "Ja mein Kaiser" or "Yes my Kaiser"!

In my first battle despite having crappy spearman in 15th century I won while my casualty was half and the Spanish casualties were 80%. Not bad, but I've forgot how to manage stuff in this game after 8 years.

That one game where I look in my wallet and try to catch the money before it disappears. I'm really bad at it

Looks like you'll have to wake up the Mongol giant to complete the game by taking Jerusalem. That should have some challenge, provided you don't settle too much in Iberia.

Also, there's something terribly wrong with this picture... it isn't Stainless Steel 6.4.

I have 2 diplomats in Mongol Persia region. I don't know why are they there...

And... how dare you insult my glorious German Knights armor and weapons?!

Looks like a bit of a rip-off of the Starfleet Command series.

The only way I could deal with those mechanics is if I were firing quantum torpedoes at Warbirds.

Got a bit farther in Call of Cthuhlu: Dark Corners of the Earth, around 3 hours in. Most of the gameplay has revolved around Chase/Stealth sections with a few puzzles thrown in. The storyline's more interesting and has better lore than most of the First-Person "spooky" games I've played, mainly anything from Frictional. Stealth in a lot of these seem a bit poorly designed, though - most of the time I'm better off running, zig-zagging, and hoping for the best.

I'd put it in the Flawed Gem/Cult Classic Category, still havin' fun with it. :)

I'm only about 2 hours into it, but it's really cool man. It's so frickin' beautiful I love it!

Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes

Finding it pretty addictive with the mix of 4x and RPG elements.

Mostly watching anime, reading, and working. I played a few levels of Skyward Sword with my gf.  I'm pretty much on a gaming pause until significant DLC comes out for TW3 or DA:I.

Dishonored. I'm currently playing through Brigmoire Witches.

After that, I'll play through main game again - I wasn't convinced, when I played it the first time, but now I'm enjoying the game much more.

Same. I first played it a few years back and didn't quite get the hype behind it, but having recently played it through to the end (with a better understanding of stealth games thanks to Deus Ex), I appreciate it much more. It's easily my favorite game of 2012, although it doesn't have quite so much replay value besides seeing the different endings at different levels of chaos.

Questing in Rift. Finishing the final zone so far (Tarken Glacier, a max level Lv 65 zone), before new story content is released - an epic questline (Nightmare Saga), a zone (Planetouched Wilds) and likely another zone (forget the name).

I logged onto my Rift character for the first time since a few months after release. The game looks completely different now. I thought about getting back into it, but I'm still salty about how Trion ruined Archeage.

Finished NiGHTS into Dreams the Remastered Version off of Steam. I came, I saw, I came again.

The gameplay is one of the more original ideas that still stand out today, and explain its reverence for this long. Imagine Sonic in Flight, and you'll get the general idea - Each stage explores laps that can vary drastically from one another - collect 20 or so orbs and knock out the machinery that's propagating a nightmarish symptom. Story-Wise it's pretty light until the endgame, and has a strong payoff. According to the Behind-The-Scenes, the story and level design as a whole was inspired by Carl Jung and other psychological figures - it seems NiGHTS was intended to be a gender-neutral "shadow" or alter ego. Reading the original backstory and seeing all the end cinematics, I can definitely see where that's coming from.

In terms of Visual/Audio, they definitely got the remastering down. The new version would be closest to a Dreamcast game - even on my flimsy laptop's graphics card, it's got a high frame rate and looks great. The 2D assets and choppy background pieces from the Original Saturn Version have been replaced for a far less jarring experience. Audio feels like classic SEGA. Plenty of fantastical upbeat music like Under Construction & Gloom of the N.H.C., even Psychadelic Jazzy Numbers like The Dragon Gave a Loud Scream. There's one or two orchestral bits, but they seem to be only in the sound test. Plenty of bonus goodies like Christmas NiGHTS(which is as silly as it is fun), Concept Gallery, Behind the Scenes, Music/Sound Test, a partridge, and a pair tree. My one big complaint is a need for a zooming out - having NiGhTS that close to the camera makes it hard to react to the level besides *crap move up!*. I should point out that the game is quite short, as in 3 hours or even less. The game combined with the goodies was enough for me, but may be on Only-Buy-On-Sale Status for others.

My overall Rating:

Just started yesterday after beating Assassin's Creed 2. Not far in the game yet, just unlocked the First  of Four Ormazd's power.

And do constant Mobile Game count? (As in you play them everyday but don't beat them? )

If so, I also play this addicting Town-Building Game  :D  :P

PoP '08 was underrated imo. I mean the combat and story were kinda meh. But the platforming and cel shading was good. And it was a decent break away from the others.

Finished playing Stick Shift, an autoerotic experience that has you pleasuring one of the finest creations of the 20th Century. Game mechanics are as simple as it gets, though you'll have to change gears if the RPM gets too high, or it prematurely shuts down. The game uses the Unity Engine and looks nice enough, and it's also another freebie title. Complaints... could've used more lubricant?
