So, no matter what, we end up with a new Divine being named at the end of the game. I'd like a DLC showing us her coronation. For the storyline, maybe there's an assassination plot we need to stop or there is some Chantry-kept secret that the new Divine becomes privy to and we need to deal with it. Maybe it starts out as a party DLC that lets you get the gang back together and hang out with the new Divine for one more "night of freedom" so to speak. And then the coronation happens the next day (only to be interrupted by a Qunari dreadnought sneaking into Lake Celestine somehow and bombing the city. Cue DA4 hook. lol) Maybe the plotline alters a bit depending on who the new Divine is. (And there'd be romance content for Cassandramancers, of course, if she ends up Divine. Gotta give closure to that particular thread.)
This DLC would give us a chance to see the Grand Cathedral, which is something that was sorely missing from the vanilla game. I was expecting to be able to "Address the Chantry" in the logical place: the synod of Revered Mothers/the remaining Grand Clerics inside the Grand Cathedral. Or at least outside the Grand cathedral, if they weren't gonna let the Inquisition inside. Somewhere with religious significance, not a random (though beautiful) market square.
Bonus points if we also get to experience a procession in the streets of Val Royeaux or even an explorable block or two of the actual city. Including maybe a bit of the waterfront? It doesn't have to be an open world zone like the Hinterlands or something. I'd honestly be fine with some city areas connected via zoning, like in Kirkwall.
The architecture in the Summer Bazaar and the concept art in the Art of DAI book looks amazing and beautiful. I'd LOVE to see what the level artists could do with a proper cityscape, even if its not the largest map in the game. Just more than a market on top of a mountain.
Thoughts? Agree or disagree? Any other part or aspect of Val Royeaux I missed you guys would like to see? Storyline ideas?
EDIT: Would also love to see the White Spire, either from a distance or actually be able to go inside it.
