I must be the only gamer that believes in playing games the way the DEVS designed them to be played! Lately when playing in public lobbies, it seems alls anyone wants to do is run.Run as fast as you can from one end of the game to the other without gathering gold or items! Now I know this post probably isnt gonna last because of the way its moderated,it seems if y.our a STRAIGHT up LEGIT gamer you are NOT the norm anymore.If anyone wants to play the game  working as a CO-OP group helping each other out and working together,hit me up on ps4

I do agree that my experience with multiplayer has been meh as well due to matches always ending in a flash because everyone is running to the next checkpoint (and teleporting me before I get a chance to even look around). But the devs have said that to get the best experience you are meant to play with friends, using mics and stuff for communication. I'm sure there are multiplayer topics with people looking for longer matches.

I'd recommend checking the "DAMP Resource Library" stickied at the top of the Combat Strategy section for links to information about the multiplayer. You'll find more information about it in there than any other location on the internet.

 

As to the issue of people rushing ahead, it's not likely to go away in random games. If you are still new to it, it's probably partly an question of needing some time to get used to the maps and how to play. As you get a handle on that, you'll probably find that it's less of an problem, because you'll know where to go.
