While I've certainly had my complaints regarding Bioware at times, they've still developed some of my favorite software ever and that goes a long way with me. Game development can be hell so I can excuse the silence on fixing bugs/DLC. Bungie? Lol the annoying manner in which their mouthpiece devs spew sunshine and roses is a joke. I'm still waiting for the Destiny beta to end and the game they promised to show up.Region lock sucks. Change please.
Also, as a former destiny player, the difference between bio ware and bungie is night and day. Destiny still hasn't fixed the glitches that people have been asking for, they only focus on gun balancing. Raid glitches and lack of feedback from admin.
I would just like to say thank you to the admin and devs for actually listening to the community and fixing things In damp. Key glitch fixed(except for giant sometimes) in a reasonable amount of time.
The dlc was free as opposed to 20 dollars for crap dlc in destiny. Different armor skins, weekend events , they are on the right track.

Guys, all the rage is making me sad. You both fall on opposite ends of the frustration with biower line, so I guess some conflict was inevitable.
@ Veramis
I appreciate what guys like you do in this game; you, and others such as pre-ban penguin, Drasca, Mortiel, Shahdoz, Shelled, Mortiel, and the arcutect (to name but a few) bring a wealth of experience to the community, and actually take the time to share a lot of info, builds and advice that helps newer players. I also get that you were one of the most vocal people who wanted this game to succeed, thus pointed out problems. It's sad that the whole experience has left you feeling jaded and ignored, and I can certainly understand where you're coming from.
Maybe I'm just an eternal optimist, but I look the dev posts and what I take from it is that they are watching, and they are taking at least some of what we say into consideration. It's an improvement, no?
Perhaps we as a community could start with that, and try to increase it by playing a bit nice®. I'm not saying that we should disregard the obvious issues and just stick obsequious lips firmly on the BioWare butt, but as people who aren't being paid to be here, the devs aren't going to want to stay and talk to us if we rage at them too much. I know you said that you'd rather they didn't say anything, but maybe with some time, and 2 way dialogue, we could get to the level of interaction and info that you would like. Who knows?
Let's share some love (and by extension, herpes), agree to disagree, and move on.
Tl;DR biower sociel netwark pls
(That's one of the longest srs bsns posts I've ever made)
I am so awesome, I had to be up there twice... Just saying. ![]()
+1 for arcutect.
I agree completely, but you can keep the herpes. ![]()
I wasn't comparing the two platforms. Just curious how many connection issues could be resolved with a little research.
Oh, I know. I was making a joke about the PC versus console nonsense. ![]()

All you have to do is keep saying "there are many things in the pipeline" each and every week.
We just want to be reassured this is not all there is.
There is proof that is not the case. A DLC, albeit small, was released as well as four patches. That means that things in the pipeline get released. More things fill up the pipeline, and so on. I understand wanting status updates, but if there is literally nothing new to report, then you will here things being repeated a lot.

Off topic: I had someone the other day accuse me of "manipulating" how I portrayed the price of my computer by not including the price of my monitor... Which was hilarious because not only did I not pay for either monitor, but console buyers never include the price of their TV. Buying $400 console plus a $600 TV (which is a rather reasonably priced TV) equals out to a few hundred dollars less than my computer. It was an epiphany I had just now.
Don't take any offense, I'm just curious; A $600 tv? Where's that number coming from? I play on a good 32" and it was under $350...I saw a decent 60" Samsung for $550 at WalMart the other day as well.
I'm probably pushing it a little now but could we get a vague idea for the next patch and/or dlc? E.g. A month or even "# quarter of the fiscal year" is fine. Lol.

You know there are better ways of making money than nerfing the whole loot system as to not appear PAY to WIN (even though it's co-op so doesn't matter).
For example... Selling character skins/weapon skins rather than trolololol platinum rip off scheme you have concocted and that has created more of a disservice to the community.
I am sure the people who buy platinum are less than 1% of the community when you could be making money from the 99% of the community from character skins.

High end 4k TVs can cost upwards of $3,000. I was using $600 as a figure for a moderately high-end TV. Not super-high end, but not super cheap.
I can get a monitor for a PC for $50 or less, but a moderately good quality monitor costs about $150, but the super high end ones cost over $1,000. That's the point.

Gotcha. I'm more than willing to bet most people don't buy a 4k tv for video games ![]()
Thanks for replying!

I'm good with just what Fidz said. Knowing they're working on something, no matter how slow, as long as they're working on it, is fine with me. I just don't want to hear about promised support then said support is nonexistent...

I use a 50" 4k uhd for gaming. Burnt out my plasma.
That's awesome!

Usually when a person is feels strongly about something, they tend to more easily find evidence to prove their claim rather than disprove it. This can go multiple ways.
That is all I will say on the subject.

After reading the thread I started describing how many of the items do not function, and knowing that many passives are not working (my next thread), I would really like to see the basics resolved before "balancing" or even new content. Heck, even before or in parallel with the loot system.
On the face of things new content and a remake of the loot is essential to attract players and hold existing players but I think it's essential to correct the broken equipment and skills first or everything else is just pointless. Unless they have 2 groups operating it would be hard to prioritise I should think....
I wonder if all of the broken gear is broken in SP as well.... the fact that it is here in MP is disappointing enough (and makes the comments about World Best QA look like total BS..... we are after all speaking of nearly all item types and many skills - not just 1 or 2).

If there are broken items or skills I'm not conscious of them while playing.
When some DLC drops I'll be back to full strength rather than dipping in at the weekend.
