I preordered through Best Buy and was very anxious to check out the inferno armor. However, I've found that I don't have it, and when I try to download the "Cerberus Armor and Weapon" it instead downloaded the Normandy crash site. Where the frack is my armor?
Where's my armor?

Yeah I heard that the Cerberus network will be giving out guns and armor. Personally I have not seen this. When I get a chance I'm goig to search through the Cerberus network and see if it is a downloadable. As for your Inferno armor, you need some kind of promo code in order to download it. Most likely it should have come through your email.

You game should have come with 3 things (4 technically) 1. The two game disc. 2. The Mass Effect 2 information booklet. 3. A Cerberus Network activation card/code. And depending on your pre-order; 4. An addition card with your type of armor on it/weapon. This should have in very large letters/numbers surrounded by a white box with black text 4 blocks of 4 digits. This card should also have instrutions on how to activate it.
IF you DO NOT have the card then either complain to Best Buy about your missing promised extra items or send a complaint to BioWare or EA games.
However, if you do have these codes BE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING, there are alot of ifs and maybes involved with activating your codes, and if not done properly you will lose them.

I went to Best Buy and they told me they didn't have any clue about it. I sent an email to EA since I couldn't find anything on this site that looked like it would do anything useful. The only reason I preorderd was for that armor. I think I've got a right to get what I paid for.

are you sure Bestbuy had that promotional? I know the best buy near where I lived had no such thing. If they did, you should indeed persue them on this matter.

I know for a fact they did. They told me they couldn't do anything about it, which I honestly think is BS. If nothing comes from talking with EA and Bioware, I'm gonna go back there again.

I also was offered the Normandy crash site only. It would be nice to get this cleared up.

Finally getting somewhere with EA, but still unsure whether anything will come of it. I'm disappointed that I started having to act like a jerk in my messages to them. I hate doing that.

Yeah they're customer support is pretty hit and miss. You either get jerked around for days or manage to get an answer in the chat after a few minutes...

I'm getting responses at like two and three in the morning from them, but I'm just glad it seems they are actually looking in to helping me. Their first reply was the jerking ya around type, so I put the stops on it there and told them I KNEW that they could help and that they were the only ones who could because the game item is not something handled by a third party, it was made by the developer. They asked for my games' registration code, so I take that as a good sign. Now I just gotta hope they follow through.
