If your Hawke had the chance to join any group or organization in thedas who would he join up with or would he stay freelance?

My hawke while leaning towards freelance if he had to join any group it would be The Mage's Collective. My hawke was a mage and formerly a smuggler his first year in kirkwall so working for the mage's collective would fit him perfectly. Being able to help study new forms of magic and help mages across thedas from the shadows is something my hawke would be interested in.

I have at least one Hawke PT that would join the Calippo Organization.

My Hawke would probably have become sick of Kirkwall and its nobles and tried to leave when family matters didn't tie him down. Merrill is fun to be around, and maybe she is on to something with rediscovering lost elven secrets. Why not start up a company of mercenaries and scholars and go plunder - I mean, "excavate" lost elven ruins in the Dales while avoiding Orlesian patrols? Close enough to Fereldan and the type of savage country where you wouldn't have to worry about Templars or Qunari in.

Of course then Anders blew up the Chantry and everything went to Bronto-Pie. Still, not much else going on, it's not like Hawke was ever given a good reason for anything he/she did.

Friends of Red Jenny -- basically for hunting down everyone from corrupt authorities to nasty gang-men.

Also for the hypocrisy in being as bad/worse than the very people she wages war on.

Starting a mercenary company sounds like the what my Hawke would do. We'd have headquarters in HighTown in Kirkwall.

Oooh interesting idea.

Most of my Hawkes are female mages and I can totally see them either joining a mages' collective or starting a group that's similar. If I'd had a choice they'd have sold up and left Kirkwall as soon as Leandra died. But as the game ends and she ends up with the custody of Merril and Anders, yeah she would totally start up an organisation dedicated to researching and/or discovering forgotten or new forms of magic. Varric, if he accepted along with the other party members you flee with would make great mercenaries/bodyguards for the scholarly types. Alas.... I can only headcanon this happening after DAI.

My mundane Hawkes though, I can see them returning to Ferelden and setting up their own mercenary company that's friendly to mages. Has to be since again she has custody of Anders and Merril. But the same deal really. The mundane partymembers she escaped with would make excellent mercenaries.

Undoubtedly the Templar Order of Kirkwall.  I always rp'ed him as a refugee who became a Templar special agent during the three year gap between Act 1 and Act 2, so why not make it official?

My Hawke would have gotten on that boat with his lover, Isabela, and would have raised their son/daughter as they sailed the open seas enjoying a life of Adventure and Piracy.

He would have stayed as far away from The Inquisition as possible and would have never offered his life for the Inquisitor's survival.

I don't think a pirate ship is a good environment to raise a child.

Nah, I reckon that Sera's own personal hatred of nobles is what influenced what jobs she takes and the direction of her own cell of the FoRJ, rather than something that the group as a whole tend to endorse, since there were a ton of corrupt jerkass nobles living in Kirkwall and the resident Jenny seemed more interested in getting Hawke to take out the street gangs?

(Although she could have been shanking nobles on the side and felt Hawke was too high profile to use for this, or felt no reason to get involved because the numerous merc companies in Kirkwall like the Red Iron were already being hired by nobles to off their rivals?)

But Hawke probably would suit the FoRJ if they were to join anything, since they've already been involved in some capacity in it's operations in Kirkwall and furthermore, has their cousin Charade now operating the Tantervale chapter?

Mages Collective for my current (f!mage) Hawke.  Her lover Fenris would probably disagree with her, but at least he knows she doesn't tolerate blood magic, necromancy or demon summoning.

My peps would be similar to the Blacklist, where they hunt down every corupted guy in Kirkwall, along with those in Teventier. Also become something along the lines of CIA for Kirkwall.
