Because of an other thread i got the idea of this.
Please create an elven character best you can, and then make another character (same gender) of human or dwarf and post it.
(As beautiful/sexy as possible)
If you want you can make both.If you want an Qunari too its optional.
And at least please tell us how long you needed for each charakter.

Hmm i think i get it. Elves doesn't look as human as... a human does. Which is of course logical. However the thing is, our sense for beauty is attuned for the human face proportions and not elves', hence in general people will perceive human chars as more beautiful.
Is that what u are aiming for?

I've seen people pretty successfully give elves, dwarves and qunari human facial proportions. I've done so with my 3 "attractive" characters. Human is pretty easy to eff up if the proportions are off. I've see some damn fugly human females.
However, my view is biased since I would never vote for a human female. They've all got potato sack breasts and monolithic foreheads.

yeah...i think its harder to create an good looking elf than human. Even the dwarfs looking good. i want that elves look more attractive.(and i think they should) Bioware still need some improvement of Design sometimes...The Concept Arts look often really great, so not the end results...
One of the things iam thinking about is the problem with the hairstyles and so that most elves in DA history are given a baldy head! That makes me sad 
had an attempt at geralt as a human, im gonna try to make a geralt elf, they need stubble though imo, too babyfaced but I will attempt it

It's odd. For me personally, when it comes to which races are easier to make attractive, I think dwarves > qunari > elves > human. However, humans are pretty bland and generic looking so I don't have as much practice creating them.
However, I agree. DA lorewise, elves are supposedly more attractive than humans are, much like in D&D. So Bioware needs to do something about the CC for elven men and women. More Legolas, less squirrel face.

Imho in every DA game humans look better than elves, especially DA2 ... So i wonder where does your claim that in DA lore elves are meant to be "more" beautiful come from?

Characters mention it in-game throughout the series. As the OP mentioned, elves should appear more attractive, but due to limitations, or poor in-game design efforts, many elves get squirrel face, or whatever you call that mess of a design choice for elves in DA2.
But like you say, it's all "IMHO." I've already stated what I think of human females.

Well, this is a thread about "who's the prettiest?", so yeah, personal opinions/preferences will reign supreme.

I hadn't tried to make a traditionally pretty human but decided to give it a go. I used shantia's eyebrow/complexion mod for the elf so I used it for the human as well to play fair. I also gave the human a fair bit of makeup in the same vein. EDIT: Human's nose is "broken" slightly so I dunno if you consider that fair or not. But she's intended to be a badass templar so

i think your Dwarf looks best, then followed from the elven and human.hard to say which ones better but i like the elven instead of the human more in this case. Maybe the first one looks bit too sad
So i thought i show you my characters now.
The 1st one is from my 1st playthrough, but i created about 3 times a nearly similar character because i never was really satisfied with the result in the scenes.
One time i didnt liked the skin, or the eyes or the hair colour...iam still no satisfied yet, so good that black emporium is coming!

And the 3d one i wanted to create a more manly one...
Now i have created two humans too
It took me long for each characters. I think about a hour or more for each of them, to be ok with the result...

But thanks. For both I use a pretty simple checklist I came up with for face proportions, because frankly I find that golden ratio stuff way too complicated.
I forgot to mention times. Elf took me probably an hour because I had to reroll a few times to get her makeup and jawline the way I wanted. Human I'd learned from my mistakes earlier so took me probably 20 mins.
EDIT: And no fair, gotta play by your own thread rules. Give us a human!

i meant the skintone fit not together with the character. hard to describe in english...looks like she was too much in the sun/solarium.

Instead of having people create both, why not ask people to post their best elven creations, then ask others to post their best human creations, and see who gets the most likes? That way you ensure we get the best quality from both races and then we'll see which race is more beautiful (in our opinions).
I know there are some talented people who excel at both races but I think most people struggle to make one really beautiful char, much less two at the same time.
