I didn't create these characters to be beauty queens, but these are my two Inquisitors thus far. The two images were taken at roughly the same time, in the same location and under the same lighting conditions with the same framing, so it should make a comparison between the two easier.

I just can't stand the leaning tower of forehead this game erects on humans. I swear, in addition to hairs available and the potato sack breasts (or bags of sand if you prefer) on human females, I suspect this game was made by a team of 40-year old virgins.

Some people do have larger foreheads than others, especially depending on ethnicity. 
I would say I have a strong forehead (and it fits my facial structure) and I'm primarily of western European descent. And, I certainly wouldn't call it a "leaning tower of forehead." My face would be way too round if I didn't have it.
I don't think human females in-game have too large foreheads at all (except some hairstyles do give the illusion of making it look larger).

I think in real life people's features are natural, but in-game everything looks exaggerated and fake. It's the nature of the CC. These "attractive" characters are attractive in a way that does not mimic real life. Then, people make mods that make the characters even more unnaturally beautiful, like plastic doll skin with perfect make-up. Thus, when there is a slight "imperfection," my eyes are drawn to it immediately, and it's all I see.
But this whole thread though is about people's subjective perceptions of beauty. People obviously think differently. I know most people think humans in general are the best, but humans, especially females don't do it for me. It's the Miss Thedas Pageant of the BSN.

Well, with my characters, I typically don't go that heavy on the makeup. In Rhiannon's case, I was specifically going for "Warrior-Snow White" - hence the blood-red lips.
The only thing in the CC I have modded are eyebrows, because what we're given with the vanilla game is just not realistic in the least. I don't know anybody with eyebrows like that. For skin texture, I normally go more for the middle-ground, with some spots/freckles. I'm in my 30's so I typically don't like to play a character that looks half my age. Again, with Rhiannon I went as flawless as possible because you know, Snow White.
I still don't think the forehead is an imperfection. Some folks just don't go for a super-round facial structure.

Like .. in real life? Yes, but that doesn't mean I can't objectively assess beauty in someone I'm not sexually attracted to, lol. Or am I misunderstanding?
