First of all, I'm totally biased with elves. (I have/had 4 elf (currently 2) PTs vs 1 human & 1 qunari.)
I feel I spent enough time in the elf CC but very little (or none) in the others. So to really make this an experiment (and a challenge for me) I created 3 new inquisitors, so you got one for each race. My own rules: use/make things I normally wouldn't and try to keep the specific features of each race. (Usually one takes me 40-45 minutes.)
To be completely fair, I used the same mods, and took the same shots from the first part of the prologue.
Screenshots under spoiler tags.

Mods used:
- Shantia's eyebrow mods & qunari makeup
- Prologue outfit retex

Lavellan

Challenge: avoiding the childish look

She's my canon and I'm shamelessly biased with her. Her face is based on the DAII elves.
This could also totally be an excuse to recreate her and see how she looks with the new eyebrows. For some reason I liked her original eyebrows better, but maybe I've just got used to them already.

Trevelyan
Challenge: achieving an unique look

I totally fail at this... T-T I deliberately used different face/eye/mouth/nose...etc. shape (and everything, really), but she's still similar to my Trevelyan (<- I still prefer her though.)

Took a little inspiration from my Shepard for the base of her face, thus the blond hair (but still, she has nothing to do with her... xD) And those eyes make her look drowsy all the time...  <_<
Also, bonus challenge: I tried to reduce the huge forehead for stop_him.  (... it's still there though. I'm not a magician, sorry.) In real life I have half of her forehead, but my face is round shaped to begin with.

Adaar
Challenge: making them pretty... (;¬_¬)

I'm admittedly super bad with qunaris... >_> (To make things worse, I may ended up using too much makeup...)
Also I broke my own rules here (that's EXACTLY what I'd make a qunari - I'm hoplessly in love with that skin color), so she ended up similar to my Adaar...

Spoiler

Cadash
Challenge: ???

Aaand my first ever dwarf, because I've been inspired.  :D She ended up cute imo.

Conclusion
My "which is the easiest to create" ranking: dwarf>elf>human>qunari. Still, in my opinion (and my Lavellan is certainly not the best example for that) elves are the easiest to make "beautiful", I've seen gorgeous elves on this forum.

Edit: Woah, sorry for the extremely long post.

Elf > qunari > dwarf > inferior human, as always

@Lylliaa

Thank you! I gather you have a thing for dwarves?  :P  (She's really my first btw, I've never played as a dwarf, it's just not for me for some reasons.) I'm not surprised there but more at Adaar! (My personal ranking would be: elf ('cause, remember, biased :P ), dwarf, human, qunari) And I have no idea how I managed that either.  But that was exactly what I wanted to achieve with her: pretty but still bada$$ as a qunari should be.
Thank you so much the input on Trevelyan! I know what you mean, that's exactly my problem with her. She's pretty, but not outstanding.
But I was inspired yesterday and finally have a design for her in mind. Maybe that was the problem? I didn't know what to make of her previously, but I'm determined to make this work now  :P (and I need a sword&shield warrior).

It's so hard... Seriously, where's the chocolate brown on the color wheel?!

@LostInReverie19

Again Adaar! I'm so surprised! And thank you!  :) ^^

I think that having a design will help you greatly! Hope you'll share your next try ! :D

And I knooooow. I think my game completely wiped the colour brown from existence D:

Hmmm.... I have to think and remember how long it took me to make Wadolla Rain. I think it took me not to long like 30 minutes to and hour but I tossed her twice because I hate her appearance.

However here's Qwahilin...

Qwal_01_zpsm0691i6z.jpg

I admit he really didn't take me to long like 30 minutes or so since he was mainly a preconstructed character but with added tatoos and a few other random things.

Azul Hawallo (female mage qunari)

Azul_07_zps99l2gg0r.jpg

Took me a long time. She took me two hours because i made her once through a preconstructed and tons of work but her cheeks came out bloated when done so I tossed her and restarted using same preconstructed and tried to make her way way way better and yeah a big big improvement.

The Vollsan's Amolla (female human sw/Sh warrior)

Amolla_01_zpsbezklhjc.jpg

and Draven Vollsa (male human 2H warrior)

Draven_01_zpsp4p46zlb.jpg

Took me some decent time like an hour plusish (Amolla was like 1H 20 while Draven was 1H 40) each because I was trying to make a brother and sister type look where they had to look like a brother and sister duo and i feel like they are spot on.

Others like Vyre Dite (female human mage)

and Chasimess winters (female human DWK rouge)

Chasim_03_zpscbazr5m5.jpg

I was looking for a specific look so I took a couple preconstructed looks and made them look very original. I think Vyre took forty minutes since her look was simple while Chasimess took like an hour 10 because I was really trying to make her look distinct.
