The Armour of the Dragon isn't useless. At higher tiers and good mats it can be some of the best in the game.

The chest was left out because of time constraints or they did not think people needed one. In haven we run around in our armour

A chest would be useful. Or just unlimited inventory space. I mean, it's already unrealistic that we can carry around sixty items (including several sets of armour and extra weapons like mauls). Last I checked, none of my three companions haul around a great big duffel bag for this junk. lol

So why not just give us two hundred inventory slots and be done with it?

i expect that one could pretend that the inventory we have actually is a chest that we can just access from afar, but then again the aktivian toiler perk says it is pockets

i see you point i can have 60 field plate armors in my bags but only 12 healing potions in my belt, and only 1 bow and not duelwhil 2 great-swords , but im strong enough to carry 60 warrior iron armor, hmmmm a bit depresiv

Think of it this way: You only have so many pockets and backpacks you can carry around.   After a point, they get full.  I know it's an RP excuse, but that could be a factor in D&D as well, even when you account for strength.  Most of my DMs put a limit on Bags of Holding, as an example

As far as what you said about storage chests, I agree.  I cheered a bit when I found out that along with the Black Emporium is coming in the next patch.

Was there a storage chest in Origins? (not in the awakening dlc)

The Warden's Keep DLC had the storage chest.  Once you cleared the place out, the storage chest was next to one of the vendors.
