Okay, I'm going to get this back on topic some. I found another quote from DG that sums up some of my feelings here. I can't quote directly, because it's from an old locked thread:

Dorian Hot Isabela Extremely Hot cassandra look alike a MAN.....
Dorian looks like a man too, I really do not see your point.
When will this type of topics end? I really hope next game bioware makes the same quantities of LIs for everyone so people complain less about the only companion they can romance.
Well, Maevaris would be only one mage for the party. So why not both of them? I can be open minded. Could you imagine the banter?
Mae: Southern Barbarian!
Cal: Tevinter Heathen!
Mae: Dog lover!
Cal: Do I look like I'm from Ferelden?
Mae: You certainly smell like it.
lol banter between them would be interesting
But I doubt Bioware would do two Tevinter mage companions and I do prefer Mae as a companion for the next game
I just want Cal to return ![]()

They could make 18 romances, with 3 LIs for all (3 for straight men, 3 for straight women, 3 bi, 3 gay, 3 lesbian, 3 asexual) and someone would still complain that they were getting screwed over because "they were all ugly."
So in answer to your rhetorical question, probably never.

David gaider answered to one of my posts before the release that fairness with the Lis wasn't the goal of Bioware. So it isn't going to happen, or rather very unlikely.

If it takes place in Tevinter, it would make sense. Especially if the Mage in question is radically different from Dorian.
Varric himself, talking about him and Cassandra.
He's obviously lying and redirecting subject like he always does when you speak about him ![]()
I am out of likes.

After meeting Bianca, I think he's telling the truth for a change. I also think he might have been telling the truth in DA2, when he mentions to Hawke (if Hawke is romancing Merrill) that he's not into humans. Hawke for most folks' world state is Varric's best friend. Cass and Varric are opposites that clash, not attract. I never got the impression that they were about to kiss. The only companions I got that impression from do get together if unromanced, which was Dorian and Bull.
Oh yeah, I had to kill my Cadash/Varric ship fast before game came out. I think I can still see some of the embers. ![]()

In other words, critique regarding the art is great. I'm sure the artists appreciate it.
Not really, this sort of "critique" is of the same importance to the seasoned artist as my saying that I find Michelangelo's women mannish because of their physique, if you get my meaning.

That's also a good point
People in here making too many good points, stahp ![]()
That quotum on likes is just... I dunno. What're they trying to prevent here?
People liking too many things? (what?) People getting liked too much? (HUH?) Really, baffling stuff.
probably handling too many notifications.

I definitely see your point, but those are DG's words from December of 2013, so take that as you will. ![]()

You've seen my posts for over a year now. Does it really surprise you that I hand out likes for funny/insightful posts like candy?

Too positive for BSN's taste

I take it as him being diplomatic.

That's very tactful coming from Darth Gaider. In that thread, he also said this in response to someone asking him to change Morrigan and Cassandra's faces back to how they were in DA2. For those that weren't around, please remember that the game was in Alpha at this point.
Ah, you discovered it. We actually did prettier versions of Cassandra and Morrigan, and the new engine spat them back out and said, "What do you think you are? BF4?" Goddamn capricious game engines, man.I actually took this to Matt Goldman, our Art Director, and said, "New engine aside, couldn't you at least have made Cassandra and Morrigan look exactly like they did before? They were universally pretty back then. Everyone on our forums thought so, even from the first screenshots. And now..."And he wept, man. He wept.Tsk. Crunch is hard on artists.

I don't know how people do, but I never was once out of likes. I am pretty sure I never used half of them, or even less lol. I might not be a generous guy though.
Two of my favorite companions. Well, they're both funny. And nice to be around. Dark haired. Swarthy attractive.....
You know, I'd like a male version of Isabela for my straight female PC's.

Zevran was sort of like Isabella. Had similar set of issues too.
Is this the same guy that said Cassandra and Josie Look transgender because they weren't "Feminine Looking"

Several members of the LGBT community on the BSN are asking for their knight in shining armor type. I think it's time we had someone similar to Dorian or Isabela as an option for the straight/bi ladies. So, you get a straight Robin Hood, they get someone like a gay Alistair or Cassandra. It sounds like a win/win to me. ![]()

Heya! Welcome to our (mostly) hijacked thread. It is indeed the same person that inspired that thread that started this one.

Yep
Why isn't this guy banned?
Why isn't this guy banned?
That's the million dollar question, especially after spamming the whole with this Twice!
