Yes. Thank God that didn't make it into the game. My Inquisitor would have had to pull the "It's me or the pet" card.

I have a headcanon. His name is Genitivi and he's back in Tevinter being looked after by Mae.

 

 

My favorite part about this monkey was the drastically different reactions he received when pics of him circulated.

 

The Dorian thread was mostly disgusted and appalled "No, scary demon monkey no!" and the Tevinter thread was like, "Gimme that awesome monkey!"

Perhaps "random" is the wrong word. But yes, his targets are always deliberate - and always of a certain viewpoint. Never the opposite.

That's better, but still not quite right. Straight males who try to act like they're an oppressed minority are often mocked, yes, but they're just a particular case. The more general rule might be described as people who overstate the severity of their personal issues.

Gaider is on record (at a Gaymer convention, I think) for stating that they do not like to make LIs, or companions in general, who are very similar to ones from the past. 

 

I WILL credit Gaider for being consistent with this.

 

Cassandra was unique, as Morrigan was unique, as Josephine was unique. 

 

While Cassandra and Jose were really similar in romance tropes, they weren't similar in character personality.
