The evidence is in this thread (well, I think it was in this thread)
I can go into grand detail to argue why she's the other type. It's just that it's subjective and she hardly fits the bill, barely if at that.
I'd liken her to a Dandere

I can vouch for Elcor. It's the truth. Yesterday was pretty weird, even for these forums.

It isn't the first time such absurd statements have been made.

I swear the next Dragon Age game should just let you make your own LI. People will never be satisfied. If Cassandra had looked like her anime self would people have still complained?

Brilliant.
If EA/Bioware want to sell 20 million copies like Skyrim, they need to start making games FOR THE PLAYER, not just for players to bear witness to a writers agenda, whatever it may be. They should let me take Cassandra into the character customization so I can change her to what I like. That would completely restore my faith in Bioware.
Eroge. They exist. Maybe try playing those.
My original point of the post was simply to have correct female facial proportions, or companions that look similar to Morrigan, Leliana or Isabella.
That's a good idea...
But how do you go about designing their personality, etc?
Excellent question, I hope Bioware considers something like this for Dragon Age 4, it would definitely be the next evolution.
AS OF THIS POINT IF THIS THREAD GETS LOCKED, I JUST WANT BIOWARE AND THE MODERATORS TO KNOW I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR LETTING ME GET ALL THIS OFF MY CHEST. IF YOU LOCK THIS POST I WILL NOT BE UPSET.
THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME GET ALL THIS OFF MY CHEST *HUGS*.
Ultimately the best solution to make everyone happy is to let the game be moddable or let the player customize their LI's in some way. Thank you for your time!

Ah.... I was being very elastic with the term, Cassandra is not a mere trope after all.
Brilliant.

I was being entirely sarcastic, but since i believe people genuinely like that idea, i do have a lead. In Dragon's Dogma you could sit down with your pawn and talk with it, and by way of a few questions alter it's mannerisms/behavior. Maybe come up with a more elaborate system for the next DA game?

Yeah, let's not, unless the next DA game is "create your own script and story from the scratch" game .
As long as that option is only in a special "Creep's Edition" that comes wrapped in a brown paper bag and costs an extra $100, I'm fine with it.
Brilliant.

Or you can play those games and stop trying to make Bioware change the way they make their games
It's funny how a game that EA called its strongest launch ever is in danger of losing sales because a handful of disgruntled forumites can't simulate sex with their favourite supermodels.
BSN teaches me so much.
Arghhh all this talk of Anomen is reminding me how much I hate him. The only good thing about having him in your party is everyone else (aside from Keldorn who Anomen is an ******* to) hates him as well and mocks him relentlessly. Whiny, holier than thou, up himself, blames others, and so full of crap it's a wonder it isn't leaking out his ears. The smugness of his portrait alone makes me want to smack him.
Kaidan never whined. He was rather well adjusted considering what happened to him. I think many people who feel this way are the ones who played with Carth and are suffering flashbacks due to his VA.
Yeah, Kaidan wasn't exciting ( which is his main problem) but he seemed like a decent enough guy and if anything tended to downplay his own issues. I might get mobbed for saying this but I actually found Garrus kinda whiny (in ME1).

Don't you know? It's the new math.
Wow, thanks to this thread and that other thread, I've run out of likes for the second time ever.

Ugh. Don't me started on how much I dislike Garrus. Well, dislike is too strong a word. Tolerated his presence is more like it. Especially in ME2 and 3. I will always and forever assert that Bioware did the VS dirty and that the Arrival DLC and story should have been their feature DLC like LotSB was for Liara.
Brilliant.

Oh, I wasn't aware that you could customize NPC's in any other EA titles. Would you kindly point me to such a feature in that other EA owned feature title? I'm sure you heard of call of Duty right?

Wow really? I thought liking Sera just meant one was into fun crazy.
I didn't mind Garrus but i really disliked the "Your my BFF 4Ever" thing that happened no matter what after ME2
my problem EXACTLY. Just as people didn't like the Liara focus, I didn't like that about Garrus.

Shepard can still ignore or be a d*ck to Liara while Garrus & Tali to a lesser extent are forced best friends which is really annoying IMO
Eh. Shepard is still forced to feel sorry for her after Thessia.
That's a good idea...

Why not go further and let people voice act their LI as well. Maybe even code her from scratch?

Heresy! Garrus is only positive thing I remember from ME3. Well, alongside with Legion's origin story.
