Why can't we have a romance option like Isabella for straight male gamers?

I think having Sera pull an Isabela would probably be too much, all things considered.

There's already Bull to fill the pseudo-Isabela role anyway.

Let's try something new and establish which game is more superior. Skyrim or Dragon Age series?

By 2015 Skyrim sold twenty million copies. By that authority, let us compare Skyrim romance to Dragon Age romance.

Skyrim is light years ahead of Bioware in romance options.  I understand that Bioware fleshes out a companions personality FAR more than Skyrim companions. But still, hear me out................

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Welcome to the BSN.

A place to go when you want to discuss political/social issues.. under the guise of DA.

Ok fair enough, but it's just this is one of the political issues that I thought has been completely settled? The idea that sexual orientation shouldn't define a person or their personality etc. etc. etc? Am I the only one that got this right on my 10th grade ethics test? I also don't think mocking those perceived to be getting it "wrong" is all that much better.

Spoiler

Well that's an opinion I've never heard before, I'm kind of intrigued though as to how you got to that conclusion?

In Skyrim you can marry any gender whether you're female or male. There are no issues, no qualms, no prejudice, no favoring one particular group over another.  Everyone is equal whether you're straight, gay or lesbian. All that matters is the NPC's personality and your own personality. That's it. Who you are is more important than which way your genitals swing.

Imagine Cassandra, Sera and Dorian being able to be romanced by a male or female player.  No prejudice, no issues, no qualms, all that matters is Cass, Sera & Dorian's personality, who they are. Everyone is equal.

I understand the LGBT community may not like this, so I wouldn't mind you guys having exlusive gay/lesbian characters. Me personally, I don't care.

Warning, the following is a very controversial opinion which explains why I don't care. Remember this is a public forum which is far different from realities and truths discovered in someones private bedroom.

In truth, no political issue is ever settled.

There are always two sides... and about 20 sub-sides existing within 2 sides. If that makes sense?

Basically, everyone has an opinion. Some opinions offend others... and to clarify with you there, I'm not mocking this guy because of his opinion or because he's "wrong".

He has spammed this same thread, with the point of "Cass and Josie look like men" countless times, and has even hassled the devs, expecting them to change characters they've already written for the game, to suit his perverse needs.

So it is for this reason that I mock.. and not so much mock, but just make light of the situation because it beats getting emotionally invested in moronic antics in a forum.

I have felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if several people read a post on this thread and were suddenly made dumber.

You get to play pranks on people though :P

And eat cookies on a rooftop while you bond..

And have her say, "Isn't that right, Inky?"

If Cassandra looks like a man, then I guess I'm gay. I mean, she only has feminine features and a very feminine style of walking and running.

Yeah I don't mind you Bigot =-), but I just the answer in this case should be obvious. If simply changing the character's appearance was so important we would all be artists instead of gamers.

It's actually one of the reasons I don't like visual art at all, it's literally superficial. That said, I am going to care about physical appearances at one point or another, in some form or another, but the mere modification of a single factor among millions won't change the experience substantively.. IMO.

Anyway, I don't begrudge people their right to go on and on about whatever this is though so....meh...

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare outsold Inquisition as well. By that authority, give me a Kevin Spacey romance.

If Kevin Spacey appears in the new Mass Effect it might peak my interest greatly

Dragon Age would fit someone like Michael Keaton or Sean Bean :P

Sean Bean would make a great VA for a temp companion that dies in the prologue.

Yep, you're a closet homosexual.
