Ummm no they don't, other people make a big deal out of it
Agreed. I do not give Bioware much slack but this crap about fawning over romances, over sexualities and now over marriage is entirely due to the fanbase.
I do not want marriage in games either. Marriage in real life is dying institution, it is death throes...Why would I want my playable character to be saddled with some woman who nags 24/7, cheats on my playable character with another guy, divorces my playable character, gets custody of kids, the house, half his income and child support ?...*Disgusted noise* + Pukes...
Just like anyone else, Cassandra could look more feminine if you changed her hair, clothes and added make-up (being more or less feminine of course does not automatically translate to greater beauty, that's a subjective matter). The thing is, her appearance reflects her personality, she isn't currently interested in playing barbie and putting in an effort to look feminine for someone. Not everyone in the world (game world or real world) is going to make an effort to look a certain way just for you, I don't see the problem with that.
Personally, I don't give a rats arse about how Cassandra looks...Its her "Oh Maker this, Maker that, this is Maker's plan, that is Maker's way..." that is the part that annoys me the most...She acts like how typical religious girls do in real life...All holy and thou and God this and Prophet that...and then spend their time secretly reading smut...There is no crazy like repressed religious crazy...
Rather than feminize Cassandra who has a ridiculous personality to begin with, I would rather have a straight male love interest who is not a freaking Andrastian. In DAO we had Morrigan for that. In DA2, we have Isabela and Merrill. In DAI, both love interests are Andrastians.
