Well are you all straight guys? just asking, and i personally like the last three, i'm sorry you all feel that way and such but to me she looks far superior and better looking.
That said i understand the your thoughts but i know some Historical reenactment females with long hair and they can sword fight with the best of them, so really in combat under a helmet hair length is moot, with no helmet yes it could be used as a hand hold but males have long hair in combat too...
On topic people in this community just seems so hateful, its quite disgusting how customers treat others here..
I'm straight, but it doesn't really have much bearing on how I feel about the long hair pics. It doesn't really help that they look really incongruous to the face, because they're clearly 'shopped off of some model or actress's head and they're all made up and treated. But just the same, Cassandra's character is largely defined by her being a fierce warrior, so she just looks really out of place with flowing locks just hanging off her head everywhere. It makes much more sense for it to be cut, or braided and bound up so she has no long flowing hair just waving around her shoulders and back most of the time.
Maybe something a little similar to this, or perhaps something less elaborate, like a simple braid.

In any case, it doesn't help that BioWare does not do hair well at all in the first place, so would probably crack a hole in the space time continuum in an effort to create long hair that actually works well on the character model. Heck, Sera's hair actually moves around, but it's manageable because it's also short.
