does this mean you approve BioWare's behavior and attitude ??

There's nothing to disapprove of as far as their posts in the forums go. They're almost entirely polite and reasonable when they post. If they start acting like the ranting raving lunatics who are screaming for their blood, I'll start to worry about it.

There can only be 2 reasons:
1.) Bioware is kind of ashamed
2.) Bioware doesn't care enough (that their customers use things in vain)

Why do people always make assumptions without any information? I strongly doubt either of these is true. Bioware doesn't seem ashamed of DA:I at all, and Bioware seems to care about their customers enough to postpone other IPs in order to patch DA:I. I'm not defending the bugs, mind you, but statements like these are childish and reactive.

My guess is they simply haven't gotten around to it yet.

I am talking about this attitude:

"We made a game and you bought it. That's it.

Play it or leave it. "

Ignoring that people had to expect a different game experience after they saw the advertisements

or read the reports.

Ignoring that the game is full of bugs and false tooltips, not-working abilities, etc.

Ignoring BTW that we are the potential customers of their next games

Ignoring...etc.

.... and for many of us very important but I understand that this should be the last point: Ignoring the huge disappointment over the loot system.

Even at the time when the developers actually made statements,

there wasn't any meaningful sentence where Bioware apologised or gave a real outlook for coming fixes.

ALONE the countless moments, when we sat in front of the windows desktop couldn't believe that the game crashed AGAIN,

would be worth an apology, wouldn't they ???

Quote me anyone saying that, or anything like it. Bear in mind, we have 4 patches, a fifth on the way, a free DLC, and posts about how they are working on things, and what their priorities are.

You are attributing an attitude to them that they have never displayed.

Ignoring that the game is full of bugs and false tooltips, not-working abilities, etc.

We've had 4 patches addressing these issues, and a fifth on the way. I don't think the word "ignore" means what you think it means.

Ignoring BTW that we are the potential customers of their next games

You're just throwing the word "ignoring" in front of random complaints, now.

You think replacing the loot system is some easy game redesign? You're beyond naive if you believe that. If you are referring to the MP loot system, well then, welcome to life. That's how it works. You know what it is, so if you choose to buy platinum, you have only yourself to blame for your disappointment. Nobody forced you to do that. And if you didn't, then they aren't "ignoring" you, they're just not responding to your complaint in a forum, because that isn't their job. But don't let reality interrupt your angry rant, right?

I have no idea what your computer's specs are, and it's not a developer's job to micromanage your individual complaints in a forum. If they did that, they would never have time to work on bugs, so this is an incredibly selfish thing to ask for.

Send your complaint to tech support. If you are then ignored, direct your rage at tech support, not the devs posting in the forums.

If your goal is to make the people who play DAMP look like whiny, entitled children, you're doing a damn fine job of it. I have plenty of criticisms of the game, but I am capable of sharing them reasonably, and I don't expect the software developers to individually answer my complaints, because that is ridiculous.

Given that you actually expect a personal apology over your criticisms of the game, I'm really not sure why I even bothered to answer you. With that in mind, I can understand completely why the developers would not respond to you.

You're talking about a subsection of the forum who actually suggested in another thread that adding the Black Emporium to the multiplayer was a simple matter of "copying and pasting"...so, yes, some do think it is that easy a game redesign. It's beyond f'n ludicrous at this point.

Obviously I don't think you can just ctrl+c and ctrl+v the Black Emporium content from SP into MP. What's ludicrous is that apparently you think that's what I meant or that you somehow think you are making a valid argument. I'll leave this thread now and let you guys continue your circle jerk.

Man! If only Bioware put so much enthusiasm in their activities here like you do  ;-)

What I am basically saying in all of my posts is:

Sometimes the small things would work wonders. Instead of your frequently mentioned FOUR PATCHES (!!!) (which all combined are actually less than one - which actually made things worse),

one person that corrected tooltips, gave a clear statement of what game-elements are not working, and constantly gave people the feeling

of being heard, etc.  would have been much more valuable.

Look at you: You manage to react to almost every post here by investing - let's say - 1 hour a day.

Don't you believe that this would be possible for a company like Bioware?

Big companies have departments/work groups for everything and spend money on thousand related things - their controlling department would this just

consider as "customer care" / "public relations",  whatever

I expected an apology because this is what I do everyday to my customers in case that things are not working out as they should be.

But I have long stopped expecting that. All of my last posts only were about game-related-things.

You tell me what my goal is ??

Like I tell Bioware what their attitude is, huh?

What I meant was: (Some) People get the feeling that Bioware has this attitude. I am sorry for not making this clear and apologise.

And I also mean that it would have been easy to convince them of the contrary - like I said above.

About the loot system:

I have always said that it is too late to change a whole system after so many players have played it already.

But thanks for calling me "naive" or worse.

And maybe you've noticed that I deliberately put it at the end because I knew that this was not a real argument.

Nevertheless it would have been great to hear from Bioware that they acknowledged that obviously a greater number of

players has this opinion and that they are thinking of solutions (even though it is not easy)

For example: taking the prestige SOMEHOW into account. Even if only by a small ratio

But by the way they handle this problem right now (by not saying anything), I am even afraid they will use the same system for ME  4!!!

This would be the worst case.

(btw: sorry for my bad English)

imagine they had assigned just ONE person who at least corrects in-game tooltips and gives info on what can be fixed timely and what they are working on next.

for a large company this should not be too much to ask for, should it ???

Ea won't even get bioware a community manager, so what makes u think that they are going to spend the extra cash for a PR fiasco?

I was never clear on this, but every single ring, amulet and belt doesn't work? Or just certain ones?

Certain ones don't work, such as bleed on hit for example.

Do you happen do you know what bleed does instead?

I cannot remember this and cannot find the thread where this was clarified.

Even if it wasn't a complete rebuild of the loot system, they can make it better by increasing the drop rate substantially for QoL or even increasing the gold drops so that don't need to run the same maps as many times for a large chest.

At the moment it's 2 threatening or 3 or 4 routine or 2 perilous for 1 large chest of crud, matched with a terrible match making system that is either region locked or overly ping sensitive makes it more hard work with a swift kick in the balls when you open that chest with terribly low percentage of getting anything decent.

the so called treasure rooms should have a better drop rate. have you ever gotten anything useful from them? I haven't and I've played almost 500 hours.
this would spice this boring thing up.

I agree with everything you've said, but to be fair: the CTD's in this game are quite numerous. SP has stabilized now after the latest NVIDIA driver, but I recall just a month ago when I couldn't even play SP because my game would crash every 10 min. And MP still crashes all the time. I'm running on a GTX 980 w/ an intel i7-4790K processor, so by no means an old rig.

Compatability issues are something that I strongly believe should have been further tested before releasing on PC platform. But yes I agree this type of thing is appropriate for Tech Suppt., not MP Combat Strategy.

Um... If you think BIOWARE is like that... Try reading an UBISOFT forum sometime.

If you do, you will NEVER complain about dev interactions again. Ever.

Bioware at least is TRYING to cater to the demands of the ranters, negative Nancies and Bertha better-than-thous. Some of them actually take the time to respond. Sometimes even close to real time. Good luck getting a response from Ubisoft any time THIS YEAR unless said response is 'You have been banned from the Ubisoft forums. Reason? We don't care about you. Date of unban? Never. So F*** off'.

Day and night. Day and night...

Bioware probably has no community manager because no one is insane enough to take the job.

Never gotten anything useful from commendation/victory chests or any dungeon chests.

So basically anything that makes the loot system better is an improvement to making the game enjoyable.
