I'm a new poster, it has taken over 48 hours and still none of the mods have approved any of my posts... Should it normally take this long? I really am eager to join the discussions but I can't because i need a mod to approve a post... 48 hours is too long to have to wait. I'm getting frustrated.

It depends on how busy the moderators are. Note that if you are using the same account that you've played one of our recent games with you don't need to have your first post approved.
