Wasn't sure where to put this but since it does contain a major spoiler , here it is.
Does anyone else find Morrigan's outfit in the Skyhold gardens, a tad inappropriate especially when standing in front of her son? It was basically a bikini and a scarf around her neck. Every time I watch that cutscene I find her outfit a bit... distracting. I didn't mind it in DAO , of course, but it seems a bit revealing to wear around her kid.
On the other hand, her dress in Wicked Hearts was stunning.

Does anyone think Morrigan cares what anyone thinks about what she is wearing? That's the thing, she's her own woman and doesn't feel the need to conform to some societal standard. And Kieren seems to be a very well adjusted young man, so it isn't like it's harmed him any.
It never bothered me that she wears the outfit in front of the kid. In some playthroughs she doesn't even have a kid. It would seem weird they would make two different outfits for her depending on of she has a kid or not. It's not like Kieran will suffer any trauma later in life because of her clothing. 
There's just so much here I want to object to I don't even know where to start. If a kid should be comfortable with anyone's nudity it should be with his mother's. After all he was sucking on her nipples not too long ago. How is it inappropriate for her child? What is the implication there? That the child will see the mother as a sexual object? Why? A child doesn't even think that way. If anything that's you projecting onto Kieran (or whatever his name is). That nudity is inherently bad? Why? Is it?
Morrigan has never been the type to care what people think of how she looks or acts. She may have grown in Inquisition, but I doubt that has changed. The outfit she wears during the ball is purely apart of the image she wants to convey while advising Empress Celene. Her normal outfit symbolizes who she is as a character, and actually the newer version of the outfit is more modest than her outfit in DAO. She has a bikini/bra under her top instead of her breasts just being covered by two pieces of cloth. I absolutely love that they kept her in the same style.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but it was perfectly normal for me to see my parents naked as a kid. I doubt he'll be scarred by seeing his mom in a bikini.

Well, from what I understand, Ferelden isn't exactly a warm place, and she wore that thing pretty much everywhere since Origins. In any case, in the epilogue, she and Kieran are clearly wearing some kind of cloak for protection from the elements.
Morrigan doesn't care what others find appropriate. Anyway I believe the devs have talked about this before and the reasoning behind Morrigan wearing the outfit was that they saw it as iconic.

I always think it's a little sad that Morrigan keeps getting these cool cloaks--Sacred Ashes trailer and the Epilogue slides from Inquisition--yet they never make in so she's always stuck in that skimpy little number probably freezing. Shock value is one thing, self-inflicted hypothermia is another. Though, honestly, she probably has no trouble keeping warm as she is a mage and doesn't exactly strike me as being to be above what others might consider 'superfluous' use of magic.
I was more bothered by the neck seam, honestly.

From a quick run from the tavern to his quarters? I'm sure some things may have shriveled but his rose cheeks probably just became rosier.

Well it's not entirely what the kid thinks about the outfit, but how others will react. For example if my mother wore an outfit like that when I was a kid, i wouldn't mind it at home, but I would feel a bit awkward if I see other adult men gawk at her for wearing that. Personally I am not offended by the outfit or nudity, I was just surprised and last night I felt the same way again after watching the scene so I wanted to see how others felt.
I think the "issue" here is that Skyhold is located in the north, surrounded by mountains and snow, and she's always outside in the garden and has no warm clothes on. I was a bit disappointed that she didn't end up like the concept art. I get that they were trying to make her as similar to Origins as possible, but the fact that she's been wearing the same clothes for 10 years is a bit... weird. Specially since you can see that she's more mature now, I was expecting a bit of change on her wardrobe as well. But it's not a big issue. She was still amazing.
