Oh yes with Inquisitor being the pivotal flower pot ...or grape leaf, take your pick.
I always thought it was an odd choice of outfit in terms of being protective, especially in combat in the first game. Sometimes you can't just run away from fighting. I mean hey world, hit my mage right in the sternum with a sword. It's exposed for the hitting! As a woman I personally want my girls to have more support than a string bikini top, but then again Morrigan is not well endowed. So that is just me projecting. LOL.
Wasn't sure where to put this but since it does contain a major spoiler , here it is.
Does anyone else find Morrigan's outfit in the Skyhold gardens, a tad inappropriate especially when standing in front of her son? It was basically a bikini and a scarf around her neck. Every time I watch that cutscene I find her outfit a bit... distracting. I didn't mind it in DAO , of course, but it seems a bit revealing to wear around her kid.
On the other hand, her dress in Wicked Hearts was stunning.
No. Just no. You really need to check your moral compass if slaughtering people in mass quantity is okay but someone wearing something that is less revealing than a bikini is "inappropriate".
Thanks Janet Jackson.
It's essentially identical to her DA:O outfit, which I didn't think was 'inappropriate' on her.
As a female, I look at her outfit and think about the dogs running loose around the yard.
When i read Red Sonja comics, its kind of the same thing, but at least Sonja's bikini supports her. She said that she dresses the way she does so that men get distracted in a fight.
I can understand magic keeping her warm, too. Maybe she's like the Benne Gesserit from the Dune novels who can change and adapt their bodies however they wish to their environments.
I wish they would have designed her garb to be more action-realistic, but this game is NOT the only game that have such things.
I'm just glad my Inquisitor doesn't have to dress that way.
how on earth is it inappropriate for his son. That kid has seen her boobs since the day he was born, How else would she have fed him.
Been a bit since I've seen one of these threads.
I'm with a lot of other posters here. It's not inappropriate because of the kid. I'm betting he's seen more skin while at his time in Court. Masks with low cut dresses are pretty common to in Orlais. My objection is due to the weather in the mountains. I live in Colorado, and I've been up around 9,000-10,000 feet while camping. Even during the height of summer (July-August), it can get very cold out there. Those afternoon thunderstorms get really chilly. It could be a beautiful warm day, but there is no such thing as a warm rain in the higher elevations. Snow stops as late as early June and starts usually about mid-September. Her clothes just seem impractical, but I felt the same during Origins too. Maybe it just doesn't bother her.
For all we know, she could shapeshift into a wolf or something else with fur and not even have to worry about staying warm when she is cold.
Not a issue at all. Its her iconic look, and if you wanna argue the weather protection, either suspend some disbelief, or head canon that she knows a few fire spell which keeps her warm.

See my example of her using shapeshifting. ![]()
Oh for the love of.... Honbestly this game is Rated M and, I don't thing the whole world has suddenly turned into Puritans or Amish or whatever. Her outfit is fine, it Morrigan's look, always has been always should be.
Yes, it is inappropriate. Forget the child, she's among nobles dressed like she just stepped out of Flemeth's hut. And this is after spending a long time in the courts of Orlais! For the record, she also looked sleazy there as well, IMHO ofc...
But you know the old saying: You can take a witch out of the swamp but you can't take the swamp out of the witch.
Breastfeeding will do that. It's realistic.I think its a bit like trying to wear the jeans you wore in high school. Except her tatas shrunk Lol
Good grief, really? Now people are questioning Morrigan's motherhood based on what she wears? Maybe you'll get lucky and Bioware will release an Amish clothing pack.
I don't live too far from the beach and I have seen tons of mothers in bikinis and as far as I know, we don't have an abundance of serial killers. I think having a spirit of an old God extracted from his body by his dragon granny and all the other things he has no doubt been exposed to would out trump his mom's side boobs. Which are delightful, IMO.
I take it you missed the first round of these back in late November?
Breastfeeding will do that. It's realistic.
This is very true. My friend lost nearly two full cup sizes between her two pregnancies.
It bothers me immensely. Everyone is fully dressed, cause you know, it's kinda ****** cold up there in the mountains. But Morrigan, she's going to the beach.
She's a witch. I'd go so far as to say the outfit suits her and her position.

wut son?
Not really inappropriate more like unrealistic
isn't the area cold as ****?
isn't she cold? she has like an outfit for the summer
though I wish they could have given her a new outfit
this is not an anime, characters doesn't need to have one outfit forever
Nobody in Skyhold seems to find it so. Look at Cass's, Cullen's, Blackwall's, etc romances, the Inquisitor's quarters ad so on. It's been mentioned there are powers within the Keep so I guess it also ward off the cold.
But yes. I do think Morrigan needs a new outfit but I don't find it inappropriate around her son.
Not to mention Skyhold is obviously "special". It never rains or snows and even though it is surrounded by snow, the grounds are lush and it has a fully functional garden. Then there is the fact that no one is really dressed for "cold mountain weather". Cullen sleeps under a roof that is open and both huge doors are open in your quarters.
Yet, there is such concern for the welfare of Morrigan's cold boobs.
I don't remember Morrigan ever caring about anyone's opinion.
