Big fan of the series/character <3

however for 90$ eeeh that's alot , hell there aren't even any reviews of it online. Having this would sooo show my love for Dragon Age though I don't think I would ever take it off lol.

No, I don't think it is worth the price.

The way his necklace is designed, you could go to the Hardware Store and purchase the items cheaper. Maybe do a little welding.

Not really. Only looks good on him in my opinion, and the materials don't look that great. Price doesn't really look justified due to that too.Of course, for a hardcore Varric fan those are things that could be overlooked.

You guys really think it's cheaply made? , it's hard for me to believe Bioware would allow their stuff to be cheaply made though. :/

lol Lol. look at the complaints about the DAI inquisitor-edition quality. There art books and prints are good quality, however.

I paid for the super edition DAI. Guess what? Most of the stuff is plastic AND two of the pieces came broken. Considering my take on it, I probably would have paid no more then $30.00 (not including the game).

So no I do not think the stuff is cheaply made, it is cheaply made.

It's not cheaply made. I should know, I have one. It's made of solid brass and its a good piece of workmanship. It's hand made by Rocklove Jewelry in New York. And it looks great. Ignore the naysayers. I've already run into a couple of people who have recognised it and we've chatted all things Dragon Age because of it. It's an excellent piece of nerd credentials.

Going to add to the chorus of "No." Use the same money and buy a couple of lithographs (there is a Varric one) or some t-shirts. I promise, you'll get a lot more enjoyment from those than that necklace.

I share your pain. Actually did they ever get  the guts to address the issue?

It's just so hard for me to believe bioware would make a cheaply made product D:

As for the people who say "why would you guy this?!" it's obviously you never been a true fan to something , that you would be willingly spend this amount to show off just how much of a fan you are.

If that's the case then I suppose I won't buy one :( does anyone have thoughts on the Hoodie's at least? I wouldn't mind buying the Armor Dragon Age one or at least a N7 Armor one.

I am anxiously waiting for the Morrigan Hoodie to be available because I REALLY like that one. The Armor Dragon Age one is pretty nice as well :)

Again, no. I could make that necklace with the materials I have in my workshop right now, in a matter of minutes. Large silver colored ring, medium silver bead chain with clasp, 2 pendant attachments - Done and all of 2-3 USD in materials. Now were it sterling or gold or something, then sure it's worth it but not if it isn't a semi precious or precious metal and, it does not state that it is.

They got their money and that is all they care about.

You know I purchased: Assassins Creed Unity LE. And guess what? It was cheaper the DAI LE and the products within are of higher quality,. Even the music box, is nicely done.

It boggles the mind.

I've had my hoodie for about 3 or 4 years now and it's still in really good shape even though I've worn it almost everyday in the winter months. And my sister recently bought one and it's seems like it's good quality.

Since I'm going with a hoodie which one would you guys recommend?

The Dragon Age chain armor one :)?
http://www.biowarest...itor-hoody.html

or the N7 Armor one?
http://www.biowarest...oody-mk-ii.html

personally I'm a bigger fan of Dragon Age then Mass Effect. It's just the only thing that's a shame is Dragon Age besides the women , don't really have that much memorable armor D: with Mass Effect it's simple just use the classic N7 with the red stripe on the right arm.

IMO the DA one is better looking.

Hell, I may get one myself. Lets hope its not made of plastic. LOL! :P

I'll probably get that one as well , it's just a shame Dragon Age doesn't have memorable armor's for the males. Mass Effect has so much (Shepard/Garrus/Kaidan/Wrex)

Not to muddy the issue, seeing as you have decided on a hoodie now, but in my opinion, something's worth can be very subjective.  Can you afford a 'luxury' item (read: unnecessary)? Will you get a lot of use/enjoyment from it?  If you can afford the necklace, and believe the opinion of the person who says they actually bought one (rather than those that are unhappy with other items they have gotten), you should get what is going to make you happiest.  Fortunately, as with the necklace, you will get a lot of use from the hoodie, and I imagine it will spark conversation, too.

Just wanted to add my two cents.  Whatever you decide - enjoy!  :D

Because if they don't adress it, then it will affect sales for the next game...stain on their reputation. And yeah I saw the assasins creed stuff and it is way better than DAI's stuff.
