Mine has to be Brother Burkel. No matter what you choose, once you speak with him things never turn out well. My wardens totally ignore that big fat exclamation point over his head. It just isn't worth it.

Protecting Redcliffe. Granted, lots of monsters to kill, but if you're trying to save the villagers at the same time and at least one dies before you even have the chance to *get* to the Chantry, it makes things rather irksome.

The whole series of quests with Bhelen or Harrowmont. The adventure is fairly likable, just not liking that it's politically mandated.

It's kind of hard for me to come up with one, actually... I think I'll go with Sten's loyalty mission since doing it would first require me to hire Sten.

That poor Sir Otto quest. He like, dies all the time on me. Can you even save him? I avoid him in the alienage, at least he is blind and living man.
Nope. The only way to save him is to not offer to help. :/ I agree that it's a sad ending...
And I actually did think of one that I do not like: Captured or w/e it's called when the Warden is arrested by Ser Cauthrien. I don't like losing fights on principle, because then you are at the mercy of your opponent, and I hate going to prison in games because then you are at the mercy of your jailors... so I never do this quest and always kill Cauthrien. In fact, I've never even seen this quest because I've never lost to her. I assumed it would mean a game over, so I didn't even know this quest existed until I read about it on the internet... xD

You should give it a try my fave romance is Morrigan , I get her and Leliana to rescue me there's some witty banter between them and you get to take out all the prison guards .

Anything at all Orzammar related. After half a dozen playthroughs I was ready to seal up the damn doors myself and let them all die if they were too stupid to pull their heads out of their arses.
Orzammar had my canon Warden ready to turn to blood magic and summon demons. And he hates blood magic with the passion of a thousand Archdemons.

yeah the Orzammar levels are challenging I'm hoping I'll have them mastered this time though with my current plan of leaving them as late as possible. So far my plan is working but it's still too early to tell yet.

Orzammar is fine up until the Deep Roads; what an overlong, tedious grind that is! The Jarvia bit could also do with some trimming. But I like the main bits in the city; lots of interesting characters, lots of options.

Yeah the city bit's all right it's the Branka/Caridin section that sucks. It's just a bit hard for my liking compared with most of the other levels which is why I'm levelling up asmuch as I can before I attempt it to see if that makes a difference. I think it will as I've taken a different route with the powers I have at my disposal as well. I'm handling the boss fights much better than I have done in my latest playthrough so I am more hopeful.

I loved the deep roads it was the chance to show how powerful my character had become, hundreds of darkspawn to kill was awesome, the quests I hated where the chantry board, mages collective and crows quests because it was slow and boring to do, not to mention fast travelling just to find a letter from a noble, ok fast travel back

When Bears Attack. There are some bears. Go kill those bears.
Pretty unimaginative. I mean, the preceeding quest is basically "go kill those bandits" but at least those guys are somewhat of a challenge and yield some good equipment. The DAO bears are pretty pathetic compared to their DAI counterparts and they drop no loot.

It is funny if you have Alistar and sneak out. Doubly so if you have a Rogue that unlocks the Door anyways and dirty kick the Guard anyways and steal the key for the shits and giggle and steal some guard armor and walk out the front door like a boss.

Yes, yes, I'm sure it's a fun quest since being imprisoned doesn't turn out to be a horrific experience for the heroes, but that's just not a risk any of my Wardens are going to take. So unless Cauthrien legitimately wins against us one of these days, I'm not going to be seeing it. Actually, since they aren't killed immediately or tortured in prison I guess that makes the quest worse since it's unrealistic. IMO, losing a fight just isn't a good way to start a quest, especially since Loghain's soldiers have no reason to spare or be gentle with the party considering how many of their friends the group slaughtered along the way to Denerim, inside Howe's estate, etc...

My 2 least favorite are the fade in the Broken Circle quest and the Deep Roads looking for Bronka.
Thank goodness for the fade mod so I can skip most of that and get to the final battle and get through it as fast as possible.

The Deep roads....no accually the whole Orzammar mess. I dread it every time I play DAO, too tediously long. And the Fade...ugh I feel faint...but luckily I have the oh-so-wonderful "Skip the Fade"-mod! I want to hug the person that made it. ![]()

I split my team up for that and make them hold position. I leave 2 at the bottom and 2 at the top and switch back and forth. It's hard but I saved everyone.
As for my least liked quest? The Jarvia one. I didn't mind the Broodmother one, but the Carta one was a maze of headaches!

yeah I don't like the Jarvia one much either that and the Branka and Caridin fights are a nightmare to negotiate. That's kind of why I leave the dwarf section till as late as possible now to give me the chance to level up as high as I can before taking them on.
