So, I managed to get my significant other very, very heavily into Dragon Age. She hasn't played DAO or DA2, but she really wants to.
Unfortunately, the game it a tad bit dated and, quite frankly, kind of boring after DA2 and DAI; not just in gameplay, but also visually- especially in terms of some of the noble outfits. For our anniversary gift this year, I'm putting together a crazy heavily modded version of DAO for her to play. I've got a vague familiarity with the modding toolset, but I have some questions. Any help would be very much appreciated!
If I have a model that's already been set up to work in DAO- say, one of the Kirkwall imports models, all I would have to would be to rename the replacer to the name of the model I want to replace and stick that dude in the override folder, right? If so, how do I check what the names of said files are? And If I rename the replacers to overwrite, do I have to rename the relevant textures, too?
Similarly, if I wanted an NPC to use an armor from a mod, how would I do that?
Thanks for any help any of you guys can provide.
